Guys there will be further delays to this release now due to the inclusion of a ladder, now expected to hit shelves in 2045

rather good?

i guess, if you don't look at the canopy.

to me, falcon's best model was their f86D. best by a long margin and in fact probably should be in the hall of fame of legendary moulds.

Even with the fixed rocket pack?? Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of the tooling myself,.....but the option to take the pack off would have been nice.

In fact, if I recall, the Yugoslavian example had no rocket pack,....but all the USAF Doggies did.

Yeah your right...SkyMax still lives but slow on releases...look for a new Val release early next year...that tid bit coming from William directly..recently.

I was hoping for low budget SkyMax 1/72 obscure aircraft models in that brand...but it's not gonna happen any time soon, if ever. My SkyMax wishlist is for a SkyMax brand...1/72 F-9 Courgar (both Blue Angels and JR's used them), 1/72 F-7U (Blue Angels), 1/72 FJ3 and F3H (both JR's).....Damn I miss Falcon Models they might have been the one to make these.

For Skymax, in addition to the F9F,....I'd prefer the F84F. Plenty of users, other than the USAF, like Germany and France.

Not to mention Skymax had already tooled and released the straight wing MK's of the F84.

Some good news, Calibre have come to their senses and changed the colour on the RuAF Fencer.

I believe this will be a weapons pack for the Fencer ?

Nice. Those who have the first release of the HM Su-35, and the upcoming Red 04 Su-35 could use those X-59 and X-29 as a mod. I'd be displaying my Fencer with the FAB bombs though. More than happy with those already. Those other extras are just bonus for me, especially now that they changed the colors. Never understood why some people sided with the blue take in the first place. It's grey. It'll always be grey even if it looks blue. General rule is: When in doubt, it ain't blue

No,...still likely towards the end of this year. The photo is from CalWings indicating manufacturing is getting right along.

Somehow, I find the digital cams looks better on the Su-25 than on Su-24. Until I see the digital camo model, I prefer the first "plain vanilla" rendition.

Yeah I with you, the digi scheme looks better on an Su-25 but I’ll get both these Fencers regardless

i'll hold out for the second wave. firstly, i personally find the digital camo scheme more attractive, and secondly, calibre wings would've ironed out flaws by then (after all, new technology would make it possible by 2050)

Digital scheme really rocks... The Su-25 from HM, i love it.
But the shark mouth on the first release... tempting, and until 2050, i could save money

Seems that CalW have made same mistake as with their F-14s when they also announced new model before previous one was released and many buyers switched their decisions and waited for newer release. OTOH - they have sold out all those previous F-14s anyway.

Pitty for the bent pitot - pitty for CalW image as it looks really awfull. Yeah, technically you can put your bent pitot tube under the hot water and make it correctly erect (... and then take your spared Viagra and explore nightlife ...), but it repeatedly gives a bad image to Calibre. Noel´s way of communication doesn´t help either.

Wish them no more issues with SU-24.

so what's that bit about a secondary science education? guess someone must've miss the part in class when the teacher said, "if you want something straight, don't use soft plastics as they naturally bend over time.", probably daydreaming about lyn minmay

I´m personally waiting for a standard grey RuAF SU-24.
I hope that bent pitot will be solved by that time, anyway even when not - bent pitot wouldn´t be deal breaker for me as I believe that it really can be easily straightened.

Anyway currently it looks like:
Hey guys, I´m knowingly selling you expensive premium product with defect, but you have repair manual on FB, so I don´t understand what are you complaining about?...
Thats really not necessary.

Instead, saying something like:
Yes, we know, we´ve used little bit too soft material, from next release we will improve
.... would result at least in fewer dissatisfied customers.

Btw:
Have you noticed: 4 people liked Noel´s disrespectful reply

You probably won't see a recall or refund offered...what you will probably get is another "Fix It Yourself" (FIY) procedure number #x ..... in the FB Repair Manual

Can that donkey Noel just admit he’s selling ****ty products and improve them, the only people he’s ever convincing with his excuses are the same people who would get down on their knees for a freebie and other like minded donkeys.

Bent antennas if I remember my secondary education design and technology classes is a result of pi$$ poor quality materials and a donkey that can’t deliver what they say they would.

Also there are signs of inferior paint quality and/or paint application with pitting in some areas. Then there are scratches over the model, FFS it costs +$200, GET IT RIGHT YOU ****ING DONKEY.

As for the Tomcat, again the idiot stepped right into that turd by saying it only happened after 3 weeks when the collector claimed 3 months, so he’s saying his models are far more inferior

I can respect someone for being ambitious and making bold statements of high quality, but Noel is extremely poor at communication with customers. Condescending and childish. I am very put off on buying the bunch of CalWings Tomcats I was looking forward to. Frankly I can't stand the rubber pitots but the attitude shown by the company owner is terrible for advancing their interests and convincing buyers such as myself so support them and put our trust in them regardless of issues.

I'm still waiting to buy my first CW (F-14 Black Bunny) .... Hoping by then that the defects have been worked out and resolved so that it's an un-complainable model.

In terms of the paint and not the rubber, It would even be much more disappointing and a deal breaker for sure, that it may be found out in the future that toxic lead or toxic cadmium based paints and or coatings have in the past and continue to be used by some Manu's. There's international agreements against it....however .. We all know the bottom line is profits. Would a Manu turn a blind eye to international agreements and use toxic heavy metals or chemicals? One has to wonder. Think of it......we may or may not be surrounded by toxic models

well, look at monsieur javebean's post at #25 some two years ago. almost seems prophetic... and i can almost hear a comeback along the lines of, "well if my secondary chemistry lessons serves me correctly, the material for the tripod tips will naturally react with the paint. if you don't want the paint to bubble, don't put them on the stands "

adding to this, i can't stand someone who doesn't disclose that the model they're reviewing is a freebie model courtesy of the manu... and not highlight obvious flaws, but only sing praises (eventhough such praises are apparently flawed). that's a total disservice to their customers, methinks.
