Default FW-190 "Butcher Bird"

This model is made by Thomas Gunn in 1/30 scale. I made a small diorama with couple pilots to showcase the plane. Hope you like the pics

Thx for sharing, very nice diorama I have to say! I always love to see German WW 2 aircraft on display whether it's a plastic model or real aircraft on display in a museum...

That's some amazing work. I like how the pilots are sharing brewskis and swapping stories.

I like the diorama setting, also puts some perspective to how big the aircraft is in real life. Hopefully the figures aren't rivet counting the model

Thanks guys.

The pilots are a bit larger than the plane scale wise, approximately in 1/28 scale.
This plane is one of the best model in polystone that are made by this company. They are now only making 1/30 scale limited wood planes in WW1, WW2, and Modern that only target a small group of deep pocket collectors

Very nice, cnq. Interesting that they attempted to replicate the engine exhaust stains but not those for the wing guns.

Great work cnq... Nice 130 scale kit and thx for posting. "Butcher Bird" is the one Corgi 1/72 scale FW190 I did not get. Last time I looked it was htf and a valued piece. Believe I have all the other Corgi FW releases and might be listing them for sale once my remaining 5 Me262 "Swallows" are gone...

Selling pretty much most of my Corgi WW2 "Fighters" Collection but wanted to offer them as specific groups, starting with the Me262s. Not sure what will be next but I have FWs, 109s, P40s, Hurricanes and Spits, all in excellent (as new) condition. As mentioned, re the 262s, I would prefer to sell these models to fellow Forum members. You can PM me to discuss if interested...

Corgi's 1/72 scale FW-190 "Butcher Bird" AA34303 (Hans Hahn), if interested, is easily found and one just sold on eBay for $19.98 US. Reason it went so cheap is that it's a Corgi "Legends" model (gear down configuration only) and not a Corgi Aviation Archive release which sold for more (detail and quality no different). I would not hesitate to grab one of these beauties as this model looks awesome sitting on it's wheels...
