Default Of Lancs and Wimpies and Forts and all that cried

Well, I finally have the Vulcan wing patterns up on the stocks and as I mentioned this morning, I thought that you may be interested in some photos of my earlier efforts (and the root cause of my affliction).

Some of the types you see here I am now tooled up for, the F-86 Sabres, the F4U-Corsair, the Avro Arrow, Mustang, Spitfire, Me109 and Canberra for instance and some are at the master pattern stage. Some, not shown are still in the primary pattern stage including a P-61, B-1, F-15, F-18, CF-100, Halifax and a big Lancaster along with several others.
There is enough in the arsenal to keep me going for a lifetime if you think about it!

Again, any comments or criticisms are welcome.
John

Oooh, I love that Wellie! Are you selling these, or just creating art for art's sake? Any commercial birds? I'd love to see an HS748.

The Arrow and Canuck are of great interest to me. Shoot me a PM with pricing and options. I may have to place a Christmas order...

So glad to hear that you approve! Your first notion was quite correct. It was a case of "Art for Art's sake" primarily. This along with a pretty strong sense of nostalgia and a big "I wonder if I can?" followed by a huge "I know I can".
My bank will tell you the rest of the story.

The CF-100 is "in the works", a few challenges but nothing which can not be sorted.

The Arrow, you may want to take a peak at the photo in an earlier post which I headed "A few more from the frozen north". I do offer them starting at US$140.00 on a Maple Leaf Base plus shipping.

The Wellington I made as a tribute to a dear friend and skipper of the type who sadly passed away before completion. He did however see it under construction so I consider it "Job Done".

These are really quite lovely, and must be very satisfying to manufacture.

They capture that art deco style perfectly IMO and you have a very impressive range of types there.

Thank you. Yes, I can honestly say that I am in my element. Just not enough hours in the day.
