Just kidding. Only bought 1. Although I wonder if it would be a good investment piece.

Also, a big thanks to Spooky for getting this plane made!!

The others have gone up in value quite a bit, although this essentially adds another thousand Arrows to the market and allows people who didn't get one another shot.

I asked Don at Flight City YVR if he'll be able to sell this model.

I'll post his answer here when he knows.

The CWHM will ship. And with the cost in Canadian dollars, it may be better for you. It is listed for $160 CAD or 89 pounds, 111 euro or $125 USD.

Still in shock this morning about the RL204 good news, especially since my last communications with CWHM did not at all seem favourable for another Arrow release. Have just completed my order with CWHM and looking forward to having 204 join 201 and 203. "Huge thanks CWHM!"

Just sent a thank you note to Al Mickeloff and CWHM for taking a chance with this third Arrow release. It's a big risk for them but considering RL201 and RL203 are htf and currently selling for over USD $300 on the secondary market I expect RL204 should sell out quickly - at least I hope so. In closing I could not help but ask Al "again" if CWHM might one day consider doing a CF-100 "Canuck"...

Does anybody know if the Mk 2 had any visible differences from the first five, or was it all internal with the powerplant? I'm not 100% sure if it had larger intakes or any body modifications to accept the Orenda engines or not.

Yes it is a big risk in light of the cost element. I expect it will sell out as this could be the last Arrow model they are willing to take a chance. Unless something happens to costs to make it affordable and we just don't know at the moment.

That's interesting, I wonder if this also explains why there hasn't been more CF-100 model kits.

Well, well! That also sounds that it has recently become less difficult and that producing a CF-100 is something they would like to do.

Yes, 1,000 only and it will be collectable.

The first two releases totalled 6,500.

This makes a total of 7,500 for all three versions.

6 months is pretty good considering how long we're having to wait for an RCAF Halifax.

Just a heads up, the model is on sale today. CAD $ 159 plus $ 20 dollars shipping which converts to $ 140 USD total.

Pre-ordered one as well. I've built 202 & 203, and going to have 204 this year
I'm currently building the Banshee, and have the F5 Freedom Fighter ( in Canadian marking) after that.

Considering CWHM's RL204 release will be limited to only 1000 pieces, and quite possibly the last CWHM Avro Arrow of three different schemes produced, I believe it WILL be a good investment piece. For those who can afford it, ordering two, or possibly three, might not be such a bad idea. My guess is CWHM's Avro Arrow RL204 will be SOLD OUT before Christmas...

Guys, if I may be so bold …

If you’re lookin’ for a fantastic model of a spectacular jet—don’t pass this by!!! I’m tellin’ ya, models don’t get better than this; I’m absolutely certain it’ll sell out sooner than later … as in really soon.

For my money, the ol’ Arrow was the hottest, best lookin’ jet ever designed and would have become a genuine game-changin’ warrior given half a chance. So take the plunge. If you don’t buy this Holy Grail of a model, you’ll be singin’ the blues.

Preordered mine this morning, will look great beside RL201 and RL203 although they are massive and take a ton of real estate on the old shelves!

Was thinking the same thing... And might consider selling my non-Canadian models in favour of making more room for my three Arrows!
Also hoping the Canadian Collection might someday grow with the addition of a possible CWHM CF-100 (aka Canuck, Clunk) release - huge piece of diecast as well. My logic is, if RL204 sells out, which I believe it will, perhaps CWHM might consider a limited 1000 piece production of the "Canuck"... Of course CWHM will need to build a CF-100 mold for this monster, but, for all us "Clunk" lovers, let's just keep our fingers crossed for now...

C'mon, what Canadian collector would not want a CWHM diecast of this 409 Nighthawk Squadron CF-100 "Canuck" sitting next to their CWHM RL204 Avro Arrow...? I WOULD!

Count me in for a few Clunks as well - especially 409 . I know for certain that there are at least four liveries of the Clunk that I would want - we can hope and keep our fingers crossed. Come on Spooky, see if you can sway CWHM on this as well

And there's a very nice series of Canadian Clunk schemes to choose from... Problem is, but will need to check, not too many countries, other than Canada, used the Avro CF-100. Therefore, projected sales could be affected by lack of interested collectors. In addition, as previously mentioned, a new CF-100 mold would need to be created, plus, this monster, close in size to the Avro Arrow, would require high material costs, needing a huge chunk of diecast for each piece - the CF-100 was a very large aircraft! When I approached William at HM about taking on a CF-100 project, he replied, "probably not", giving the same reasons as stated above. Seems our best bet for a possible "Canuck" release would remain with CWHM. At this point I'm happy CWHM will release a third Arrow and have planted the seed, more than once, for a CF-100 Canuck...

And there's a very nice series of Canadian Clunk schemes to choose from... Problem is, but will need to check, not too many countries, other than Canada, used the Avro CF-100. Therefore projected sales could be affected by lack of interested collectors. In addition, as previously mentioned, a new CF-100 mold would need to be created, plus this monster, similar to the Avro Arrow, would require high materials cost, needing a huge chunk of diecast for each piece - the CF-100 was a large aircraft! When I approached William at HM about taking on a CF-100 project, he replied, giving the same reasons stated above. Seems our best bet for a possible "Canuck" release would remain with CWHM. At this point I'm happy CWHM will release a third Arrow and have planted the seed, more than once, for a CF-100 Canuck...
Belgium also used the Clunk

You beat me to it Stich... Yes, Belgium was the only foreign country to use the "Clunk" or "Canuck". The CF-100 was the only Canadian Aviation designed and built combat aircraft (Fighter/Interceptor) to reach operational status (1953), and the RCAF "Canuck" (later CF) played a critical role in this country's participation in the defence of North America and Europe during the first two decades of the Cold War...

Yeah well Canada was the *only* operator of the CF-105, and that's clearly selling just fine.

Just sayin'.

Excellent point Jumper, and the CF-105 was not even operational...

Was just thinking the very same thing.

Also, just for the sake of comparison to another recent Hobby Master release:
*156 Vigilantes were built and served for 18 years.
*692 Canucks were built and served for 29 years.

If an unlikely release like the Vigilante can be released, why not the CF-100?

I would buy the diecast CF-100 if they ever make it.

I think I will buy 3 more that makes 4 in total. If The CWHM does not do the other 3, I will have them done code 3. I do believe you can find decals out there some ware. The Avro Arrow is one cool plane
