Perhaps a bit of "baiting" going on here and deliberately straying off topic...? Fact: Canada, throughout aviation history, has produced some of the finest pilots in the world. But then, I suspect people who poke fun at plane crash incidents, and childishly taunt other members, are likely not pilots...

Very interesting news and I hope this "Arrow project" gets off the ground. Even at 0.6 scale, just over 1/2 the size of the original Arrow, this aircraft would be a cool re-creation. Will be interesting to see what RL the builders choose - perhaps the first Arrow, "RL201"...

Snap! They sound like a good deal, however are these books any good for a non-serious military aviation buff such as myself? Until I saw this model here on DAC I hadn't even heard of the Arrow, and while I do want to have literature on it, I would prefer the books to have lots of photos as well Anyone here who owns these books, can you please share what they include and how good they are?

225 CAD is a fair price especially if shipping is included. Since the latest RL-204 release took so long to sell out, it is quite unlikely CWHM will do another release any time soon, if at all. The fact that you can get one of these without paying for the "rare and long sold out" surcharge most good models command means you are in a good position and I would suggest buying now before these models actually become rare.

Just looking at some advice at pricing for a CWHM Avro CF-105 Arrow-25204
looking to purchase from an overseas seller quoted $225 USD plus shipping
I thought the range was around $200 CDN
Wanted to see what the market is for these? Is the price overinflated?
Or will the CWHM be releasing another version shortly ?
Cheers
Good Questions.
I don't know when the next CWHM Arrow will be made although I look forward to when that happens. I'll certainly buy it.
I have the first three Arrow releases and hope for more. Personally, I hope 202 will be the next one.
225 US doesn't surprise me as a price point. I haven't seen many 204 go up on eBay but very few have been 204s . CWHM made relatively fewer 204 than e201 and 203s so it wouldn't surprise me that one day, 204 becomes harder to find and, therefore, more expensive release.
Or will the CWHM be releasing another version shortly ?
Cheers
Very unlikely. The last release almost didn't make it as CWHM were quite concerned at the cost of the production run. Diecast prices have increased a lot since the Arrow tooling was first made.
There have been what,...3 releases of this aircraft? Not bad for a jet that never entered service. In fact, its quite exceptional.
Be a while before we see the next one I reckon,...if at all.
I wonder if a WHIF maybe in the offing if they do give the tooling another run??

I don’t think a fantasy livery would sell very well. I suspect they would stick to factual planes that flew. I don’t expect to see another release though.
