Default Code 3 F-14 Jolly Rogers mid 90's

This started life as a F.O.V. Swordsmen. This was for a customer, he has now reneged on his word so this one is available if anyone is interested. I more or less am posting to see what everyone thinks of my work and the finish of the plane. I would appreciate honesty. There are still very minute details that need to be attended to, I didn't forget. Sorry for the sh*t pictures, enjoy.

Here is the beginning of a long 2 weeks.

After paint

Decals and put back together.

Well done is my first reaction.

Tailfins should be pointing outwards a bit and the wind screen looks like it has shoved forward a bit. Are the modex codes on the nose fitted the right way round? I haven't looked at a photo to compare, but just my feeling that says they should be fitted the other way around. So the italic angle should be directing the tail and not directing the nose.

Otherwise I like the overall look. Interesting choice in livery.

WOW that looks amazing! Great job on it! Very pro skills. If I didn't own this similar livery from CW I would buy yours right away.

Thank you, I appreciate your candor. When the pictures were taken, the tails were just sitting on top and hadn't been reattached yet. Unfortunately the windscreen just looks like that and the forward numbers were flip flopped at the guys request. Thanks for pointing that out, very good eye.

Thank you! It's more work to do it that way but painting is easier and cleaner.

Thanks a lot SKF, that means a lot. I'm sure CW's is a bit nicer but that was a huge bump in confidence!

Right on, it depends on the build, these decals actually came from a supplier but I have the ability to make my own.

Nice job Skruffy, I hope the guy who pulled out of the deal had a bloody good reason for letting you down!

I never get tired of looking at JR F-14's

Thanks Major! Not one good excuse, just didn't want to spend the money after I did all the work... and that's why I charge a non refundable deposit
