Default Custom/One off models? Interest

Hey everyone, I wanted to see if anyone on here would be interested in buying a one off F-14 in diecast. The Squadron would be up to you, if it's possible for me to do. It would be made from a high quality model (Century Wings or F.O.V. Black Aces) the cost would be a little higher than the usual but you could have anything that you want. Anyway, I just wanted to see if this would grab traction before I started investing my time and money in to it. PM for info or ideas and we'll go from there. Thanks,

Mike

I can also do other aircraft, I was just in a position to buy a few F-14's for a good price. Remember, you can have any plane that you want and in diecast! Thanks

That would really be interesting to see. I would suggest post some pics or your finished works to give the potential buyers of an idea of your craftsmanship.

I am curious when you say "few for a good price". Wouldn't mind a PM of what you are buying

Here are a couple I have recently completed. I don't have any pics of the commissioned work that I've done but I'm trying to get copies.

The F-14 was a complete rebuild/repaint with parts added from a model kit. It was stripped down to the bare metal and the nose was completely fabricated as the old nose had a massive chunk missing. I left this one with a glossy "factory finish" because that's what I wanted, but I can also weather, filter/wash etc.

The F-16 was also a complete repaint with a fabricated pitot tube as the old one was broken. Flat paints used
Notice the black between the turkey feathers to give it a more scale appearance

This last one is just a small detail. I didn't like how they did incorporate the black around the canopy with this release. so I did it myself. Unfortunately this meant taking the entire plane apart to do it right.

Beautiful work Mike, very nice.

Since you've been having no luck locating the HM desert storm Harrier, with skills like that you should just make your own...

I actually found the Harrier I was looking for, thanks to a member on here. Then I found another one on ebay that was missing several pieces, but I bought it anyway.

I just ordered 4 Tomcats if anyone wants a custom jet! Anything you want, get that Pukin Dogs that has been so elusive, get a high vis JR of your choice, or the infamous Black Bunny! The possibilities are endless.

1 Tomcat already spoken for

I've gotten a lot of inquiries and orders coming in for custom work, unfortunately quite a few of the models have yet to come out which has left the next few weeks open. I have 4 F-14's in route if anybody wants to reserve them. You can finally get that Jolly Rogers or a low vis Grim Reapers or even your own Black Bunny! Grab em while you can, pm me for prices.
