Default Altaya CH-37 Mojave, Merlin HC.3 and Sycamore

Two more Altayas, Mojave is a bit big .

That's an Amercom UH-1 beside it ,an impressive bit of kit and nicely put together .

Merlin HC.3 , another nice one , looks like it is based on the Italeri/Revell kit, again nicely finished and goes well with the hounds Puma and Chinook.

The Sycamore is a great little model of the early British chopper, the makings are for one used in Suez.

These are much better than the Amercom range so I hope thy get a proper release in the UK.

Thanks for posting these - there have been some Altaya rotary wing aircraft that would really help me "complete" (ha!) my theme, but I've been on the fence about due to quality concerns.

These are the first hi-res pics I've seen and they're not bad - especially for the price! I think I'll be pulling the trigger on some after this...

Mojave is a wonderful 'forgotten' helicopter (with a vietnam war history, no less). While I usually love obscure themes, however, as tker says, between the large size and questionable quality, i'll probably pass on this.. but feel a bit bad about it in the sense that I always want to encourage manufacturers to make obscure stuff and really like this gets a an A+ for being out there. I just can't imagine who it is out there that's buying these (other than a few very knowledgeable hardcore helicopter collectors).

Do the measurements have it being close to 1/72? I'd love to get one if it's close.

Great, thanks! I know a lot of the "bubble package" models are 1/100 so it is fantastic that it's 1/72. I'll definitely be getting one. I've had the privilege of seeing 3 of the surviving 6 CH-37's.

Have to say they go look good quality. Amercom is very much the typical budget brand with the mix of hit and miss models.
