Default Hobby Master spare parts..??

Is it possible to get spare parts from HM in Hong Kong if you email them your request..?? I'm in need of a new canopy for a 2 seater HM Hornet I picked up on the cheap. I seem to remember reading here that some guys have had success in getting some parts from HM.

Hello, yes, you can send an e-mail to HobbyMaster. I did it already several times. Sometimes it is free, sometimes they will ask 5 US Dollars for shipping. HobbyMaster has the best aftersale-service.

My own experience is it's usually free if it's to replace a defective part when the model is bought from a retailer. This is the HM email address I use [email protected]

I'd say they are pretty responsive. Just the other day I emailed HM regarding a broken part on an A-10. I sent them a photo with the broken part highlighted and they are sending me the replacement part.

HM are absolutely brilliant for service, at least as my single experience so far. They sent me a replacement antennae for a 1:72 Stuka, no questions asked free of charge.

It took about 5-6 weeks or so, but I was CC in the emails so knew the process. They even painted it in the correct colour for the particular model.

Didn't ask for proof of purchase (I bought it used) or anything else.

Just great!

OK thanks a bunch for the info guys, I'll shoot them an email today. I don't mind at all paying a reasonable cost for the canopy, I just hope they've got one.

Small World...

I literally just sent HM an email on this subject 2 seconds ago on a very rare Japanese B5N2 Kate that the seller sold me minus all the accessories (which he didn't bother to mention).

I'll let you know the response.

Absolutely, never had a problem ordering spares from HM.
Will need to request main gear for CF-101 Voodoo soon.

I emailed HM for the front landing gear door that was missing from HA1602 (French Mirage 2000) last year. I'd picked it up on the secondary market. William arranged for it to be sent to me free of charge, no problems at all. I also was cc'd into email communications.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't sort you out ArcLight.
