Yes i did forget about that one but i'm restricting myself to hi-vis birds for now due to lack of funds. With the Gay Viking fiasco, i may be just be able to squeeze it in.

CW price here generally higher than HM, like many other places.
There is local dealer, Automodels @http://nikkodiecast.com.sg/About%20Us.html that brings in HM as well CW. I buy my HM products at the shop as I get to check & pick the best one around. Do drop by the shop if you have the chance.
There's also Corgi store but they don't stock in latest products, so I wl buy Corgi from online overseas.

Javabean, howdy neighbor! If you don't mind, i have questions:
1) How's SG prices compared to the US prices? Specifically modern jet fighters by HM and CW.
2) Do they have a big collection of older models?
3) Do they carry Witty, AF1, Dragon, Falcon?

I guess retail price here is about same as some US retailers. They don't have much older models. You need to call or email them for specific models you are searching for before dropping by.
There are no retailers bringing in Witty, AF1 or Falcon as far I know. Diecast market kinda small in Singapore.

Pete's hoping he should be getting them by the middle or end this week. Have not look forward to a model like this in awhile, waiting like a kid for Christmas.

This particular livery reminds me a bit of the earlier models CW popped out. An extra bit of excitement in adding this one to the collection. That and I like my aircraft decked out in missiles.

Yeah...perhaps a little too shiny. As for the reddish orange markings, hard to tell from these photos. Sometimes photos taken with a cellular tend to have more saturation which could make the markings look more red.
So, Tomcatter, can you give us a bit of insight. How does it look in person?

CW have cheapened this and the Black Lions release with what appears to be a hardware store gloss spray typical of a backwards hick aviation museum restoration

I just picked up my copy in Hong Kong.
The amount of Gloss looks the same as the first Jolly Rogers models released by Century Wings years ago.
As far as I know USN light gull grey was flat prior to 1972. After 1972 light gull grey was changed to be more glossy. The change was made for maintenance reasons and took a few years to be applied to existing aircraft. Therefore early F-14s should appear somewhat glossy (especially when freshly painted).
