Looks like Herpa Wings ain't the only ones getting the mould, this lineup looks like Witty Wings old model, make sense if they got it. They did great work in Commercial planes and they do listen to customers, so it might be very interesting if they decide to take on these models. Of course, I'm just speculating but makes sense.

I think Herpa and JC share a couple of molds. The 747 and also Herpas DC-9 is nearly identical with JCs mold. So this could be another mold sharing agreement. Let's see what JCs models will cost.
Does seem a bit odd to have JC Wings producing 1/72 military. There's a 190 silhouette shown, would be interesting to see how well the mottling schemes if any are done.
When Witty shut down and went belly up a few years back all their moulds were put up for sale and ALL were bought by Johan Chan a.k.a. JC Wings. Hence why these moulds/models are now being released under the JC brand.

For a company that is not completely dependent on military die cast it might be a clever move, but I'm just wondering if JC Wings/Herpa will be making any improvements on the various moulds or keep on releasing them just like the Witty models.
Yes you are right Cheescake but I don't know if diecast has the "power" to negociate an agreement like this because I don't think Diecast.es has a big company size. There should be a general agreement of spanish retailers i think but, I keep wishing they release an spanish eurofighter so I can put on the bin my badly made kit form revell
The Typhoon mould could definitely do with some improvements.
JC wings have shown with some of their 1/200 releases that they are willing to make improvements to a mould. Both the Corgi & Witty Typhoon moulds have shortcomings.

It's a good question. I think it depends on how seriously they want to take 1/72 military. Whether it's integral to their core products or it's a cheap way to supplement their income ie gaining the sales that would have gone to Witty had they remained in business. If it is the latter then probably no improvements. Whilst the former could mean really challenging HM and perhaps doing their own moulds rather than just using Witty.
If the prices reveal themselves to be quite high then certainly improvements would help to "soften" it up a bit.
All the planes I really want from the Witty molds aren't shown here... except for the Sea Fury. Where's the T-33? The Hawk? The F-5A? The T-38? I'll take a post-war RCAF Mustang in 1/72 though, thanks.

Those were Falcon molds not witty. Still wondering if Falcon will resurface one day.

Hopefully they will. The last I heard was production suspended awaiting move to new factory. Don't know if anyone has a contact in the company to confirm if this is still the case.
