I know people can get kinda crazy with their pricing on ebay, but this one has an opening bid of $175....

It's called 0 ebay listing fees, often by companies that list everything under the sun. Sometimes, people buy

That said, $175 for a HM JR phantom i think is about right if we're talking about the "black tail" versions the "flag tail" HA1968 probably should get a bit less than that. The black tail versions ("Roosevelt spelling mistake or no") are attractive birds and HTF and if i was selling mine i'd expect to get at least that. (And, to be clear, some of my other ones I would expect to get less than what I paid for them).

I think that $175 is reasonable for this. You might get lucky and get it for less (especially if a forum member sells it to you), but, well, it's a popular model and $175 is not insane for this on the open market.

I saw it too on eBay but you can always ask the seller if you could maybe buy it for less, perhaps $150 with shipping if he's unable to sell it to anyone else...

thats the biggest problem of every plastic model/ diecast collectors.....space to display them....... its kinda frustrating not displaying them.....

that pricing is in line with the current market rate. I picked up a few of these from Petes and they were even higher priced. But brand new from a reliable source! And agree the 1964 is an elusive bugger.
