Default Corgi AA27104 Messerschmitt Bf109G-2 as preserved at RAF Museum Hendon

Here are some pictures of the new Messerschmitt Bf109G-2, as preserved at RAF Museum Hendon. Apart from the an issue with the aerial (too short) it is very well done and a great addition to my collection.

I would very much like to see some more G-6's with the under wing cannon pods mounted correctly.

I wish Corgi did not utilise so many museum pieces for their releases. I understand the reasons why, just don't think much of the idea. Surely Marseille's BF109G would have been a better choice? Particularly as Dragon had already released this exact scheme.

In saying that, I do like the scheme and as I am collecting all 1:72 for my Luftwaffe Desert/MTO theme, I guess it will join my hanger.
