Default Help finding a Fenwicks 1/200 Travis C-5 Galaxy

Hi guys. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for an older release, and I know it's not a popular one but it's the only option out there. There was a resin C-5B Galaxy released in Travis Air Force Base colors a few years back by Fenwicks, I've seen a few older threads about it and a few pictures. I know the quality is really down compared to high end stuff, but I have InFlight200's Travis KC-10A and Gemini's C-17A so I'd like to complete the trio. Does anyone know where I can find one of these? I have their NASA C-141A flying observatory, so I know what I'm getting myself into as far as the product quality.
Thanks
Rob

that's a tough one. I did a thread on this 4 years ago!

http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...tarlifter.html

I believe these were only available from aviationretaildirect and airspotters in u.k. plus only about 50 were made. you could try posting a 'WANTED' thread in rge trade section. there are some 1/150 ones on ebay.

I posted a want ad just now, maybe one will turn up. Only interested in 1/200 as I have the other two Travis heavies in that scale. I know this one is going to suck to find.

I have the white top one and to be honest I think it's pretty decent!

I've seen that one, and it is nice, but I really want to find the Travis version. I don't think it's gonna happen though.

This is precisely why I'm lobbying Gemini200 for the C-5, I'm sure like the C-141 it will be a good seller for them

I've seen the Fenwicks version at RIAT at the ARD tent a few years back, it was nice enough but I didn't take the plunge & remain optimistic we will see one in diecast one day.

That would be outstanding. And yes, I'm hoping some major diecast manufacturer jumps on doing a C-5, whether it be InFlight200 or Gemini. The 747 and A380 have been done, they're both roughly the same size, so I don't see why it hasn't happened. I for one would be all over a Travis release from Gemini or Inflight, and I could see it happening as they both have done subjects from that base before. (Gemini C-17, IF200 KC-10A)

A Dover C-5A or B with an opening nose and tail door would make me a very happy man.

spoke to mark at ARD today. sadly these are sold out and no more will be made!!!! he can get a one off done, but you are looking at around £250!!!! there is still a good demand for this model and said he feels someone else will do this model at some stage!

Astronaut, I was also thinking of getting the InFlight200 Travis KC-10. What is your opinion of it? Is it worth the hefty $160+ price tag? Also, do you have the stand for it, and if so, is it stable, or easily swayed by small motions ?

I have the two March ARB C-17s from Gemini200, and was thinking of getting the Travis one too. So much money to spend all at once though...
