Default HM Ju-87 Sample model for sale. Is this rare?

It's not mine, but came across this model on a website, where it is for sale. Apparently a one off sample of a never series produced Hobby Master Stuka.

Would there be any interest in this? And what would it be worth?

Did the website give any 'source' for the claim it was a one off HM? Just wondering, not disputing.

I note it's carrying two 37mm 'tank busters'. Is it a Ju 87G-1? I have seen a picture of one of those flown by Hans-Ulrich Rudel who was credited with destroying 519 Soviet armoured vehicles. But that had code GC....BD.

As for cost, if it is a true one off I would imagine the cost would be difficult to judge as nothing to compare it to, so whatever someone is willing to pay. But I'd assume we'd be talking triple figures?

The seller asks €50,00 for it but doesn't give any clue as to how he got his hands on it.

As you can see on the picture, it comes in an all white box with "Sample" handwritten on the side.

Hmmm....not too sure about that. I'd probably want to check out the seller, see what if any feedback there is on them, and maybe try to contact them to see exactly how they came by it (provenance etc) before I'd risk a purchase. Or am I just being cynical!?

Probably just an IXO with a weathering job and a red swirl nose

It does look similar to HA0101, the aforementioned Rudel Ju-87G Stuka, although the paint finish is crude. Easiest way to determine if it is a legitimate Hobby Master prototype is to contact William via info@hobbymaster.com.hk .

It may be a Hobby Master diecast construction kit(!)- HAK 301. Check out the link below and the bottom left picture on the box. Seems the same, certainly same code 'EN'!?

Yes that's the one. Explains why the paint job was crude. It was sold as an unpainted model..

Oh OK, well that figures... I contacted the seller and he told me the model "had just been sold"... Well good thing this, now I know to watch out and probably steer clear of these "samples"...

Not a one off model, just a one off by him...

Thanks for clearing it up WildBlood!
