I'm a big fan of the Corgi Buccs, and this one looks like a must buy.
November release?

Luuv Pooch Buccs........have 5 in my stable.

However, typical gappy release from an older tooling in the Pooch's stable.

The finish is much nicer (and different) though.....and they seem have added more markings to the model compared to the older releases.

Why 'O' why they did not put bombs or missiles on it is a mystery.

Any reason why I cant post some pictures on DHP and start a thread on it.........??

Sorry Christian but no, I stopped posting there for three reasons and they are still there. There are a couple of minor adjustments to do the main one is the 114 needs moved back around 5-6mm and the marking on the intake again moved back from the intake to the main casting.

Home movie of HMS Eagles 1970 cruise, 113 with the buddy pod can be seen but not 114.

114 at Luqa.

It was the amount of personal abuse I got is the reason and I can guarantee I would get more if this was posted.

The matte finish is very nice and adds life to a very good but older mould. If I wasn't bucc'd out, I'd go for it.

I know the reasons Tony (and whom)....its your decision, which is why I asked in the first place, I just don't think much of that decision.

Look, I have some influence and if I fail I will warn the mods.

And if that fails........the mods will delete the thread.

Its the right decision....thanks.

Comparison pics with the original 809 Bucc (should I say no comparrison ) and with the Altaya Sea Vixen in Eagle markings.

The EDSG used matches Xtracrylix.

Great pics there Sniper, appreciate the comparison shots. Definitely be looking to pick this one up now. That also means I'll need to hunt down a reasonably priced Gemini Spey powered F-4...

Out of curiosity, anyone any idea what the odds are of Corgi producing a Wessex of the time in the right colours?

Not for a while and I don't think they have the nose tooling for the HAS.1

I wonder why most of Corgi Bucc's don't come with external stores? Would love to get one but don't care much for the slick look on a Bucc.

Lovely detail on the finish and paint scheme accuracy, but I hate the casting, it's so awful. I build 1:200 versions of this and they look better. The seam lines just aren't acceptable at this scale. Makes you want to buy it, strip it, fill the gaps with putty and paint it yourself! What a shame. Does it have landing gear?

Yes but none came with the pre-pro, also the starboard slipper tank will be replaced with a buddy refuelling pod,113 and 114 were the two tankers on the sqn during the cruise, 113 with a grey pod and 114 with a white one, the pods could also be fitted to the Sea Vixens.

I'm no Brit but I think this model looks spectacular, really liking it. Maybe the scheme favors the curves of the Banana.
