Similar to my NASA thread, just checking to see the interest in the market before I forward it off to HM
As more and more Aggressor schemes comes to the market, my collection for it is getting bigger so I thought we should have a dedicated thread showcasing some popular Aggressor schemes out there to point Hobby Master to the right direction.
Starting with the F-16s, I really want this black and white scheme (witty has done one in the past but I prefer HM's model to wear this special scheme). Also the Blue camo in the background is also good:
This scheme is also very special indeed, I love the grey tone camo:
and a classic aggressor scheme:
The F-18s also have some nice camo designs, I'm a sucker for the grey-tone camo like these:
Or the brown version:
The F-5s will have a lot of aggressor schemes, but I really want the grey-tone version like these or a light blue version

God yes! Love the Aggressors. They seem to sell well too. Getting a hold of the black Top Gun F-5 or the splinter scheme F/A-18 is getting tough already.
You've picked all the schemes I would have posted about already, SKF...My picks would be the F-16 blue scheme from your first photo, the grey scheme from your 2nd, and the brown scheme from your forth. Really, they should do all three of the colours for a set - the black, the blue and the brown. I'd buy them all - just space them a few months apart please, HM - otherwise my wife will kill me!
I know Witty has done a few of these F-16 schemes already but that makes no difference to me. Many collectors have held off buying the Witty F-16s in the hope that HM would do the same schemes - myself included.
BTW - the grey toned F-5s look fantastic too.
And ask HM to hurry up with their F-15 while you're on to them MKF - there's a ton of great aggressor schemes to be had there too.
EDIT: Oh, we have missed a great F/A-18 scheme...
My only request to HM would be to please hang some ordinence from these guys if you're going to make them. The naked models look very boring. Put some training missiles or a pods on it please.
Hmm...Was going to edit my original post with new info for those that are looking now or in the future, but it appears that your own posts don't allow editing after a period, so here's the updated list of HM's aggressors (or, to use the more politically correct term these days - adversaries. ).
Very excited for Red 07! Been waiting years for a HM F-16, and then for this particular scheme in particular.
Was going to post some photos of my collection now (I have seven of those listed above), but the photos came out terribly. I'll take some new ones and upload for those that are interested.
Spotted recently at Victoria International Airport, these Alpha Jets are two of a fair number that are contracted out to the RCAF for training by a private company - probably in some kind of aggressor role. I was on the wrong side of the airside chain link fence and someone had parked a business jet in front of them, but you'll get the idea. TW
Those look pretty interesting, Tony! I did some Googling. Turns out you are correct - they're owned by Discovery Air Defence Services (formerly Top Aces) and they provide 'advanced training to the Army Air and Navy branches of the Canadian Armed Forces'.
The company was created by three former Canadian Air Force pilots. The Alpha's (they own 17 of them!) were originally from the Luftwaffe. There you go. In Australia, I believe we do something similar - contracting similar services to a company that flies Lear Jets.
its too bad Witty has the aggressors I really want. I was about to pull the trigger on the blue 64th Aggressor out of Nellis, but after looking through several threads and pics of the Witty F-16 vs HM's I really like the HM's more. I'm looking hard at the CAS viper or holding out for the red 7, really wanted something different though as I already have the Iranian F-14 and the 65th aggressor F-15. Guess the 7 would fit in nicely with those 2 but again was kind of set on the blue...
steve - While the CAS Viper looks awesome, I don't believe it was painted to be an aggressor. It was an early experiment with a ground-attack F-16, hence the unique scheme, as far as I'm aware.
While we're on the subject of 'not a real aggressor's, I have decided to include HA3513 - 'Rough Raiders' green and while camo F/A-18B in my aggressor collection. Some have argued that VFA-125 are not an adversary squadron, and that is correct, at the time, they were a Fleet Replacement Squadron for the US Navy. For those that are unfamiliar with the term (as I was...) -
A Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS), is a unit of the United States Navy and Marine Corps that trains Naval Aviators and Naval Flight Officers (NFOs) on the specific front-line aircraft they have been assigned to fly. Students, referred to as Replacement Pilots or Replacement Weapon Systems Officers are either newly winged aviators (Category I), aviators transitioning from one type aircraft to another (Category II), or aviators returning to the cockpit after a period of non-flying (Category III). After completing the training regimen, graduates are assigned to fleet squadrons.
This particular bird was flown by the squadron trainers and painted a unique scheme to differentiate it from other aircraft during ACM training. For that reason, I'm happy to include it as an 'aggressor'. Others may disagree of course. Either way, it's a great looking model.
agreed it wasn't painted that scheme as an aggressor but as camo for close air support. I just lumped it in because it has that look even though its not the intent as with the F-18 you posted and its the HM that caught my eye the most. Its like my CW Iranian, though we did replicate the paint and did use them as aggressors I think the CW is a true Iranian cat (may be wrong?). I have it displayed with my aggressor F-15 despite that and they definitely complement each other rather well
You're right. The CW IRIAF cat is a proper Iranian bird. I'm very jealous of those of you who have one. It was well and truly sold out by the time I started collecting and I can't justify the price second hand. I think CW would have an instant sell out if they rereleased that scheme a as the US Navy aggressor bird. Good I wish CW listened to...well, anybody.
Interesting side note. The Iranian cats were painted in their distinctive cam in the US, prior to delivery. I believe they were only part way through delivery when the Revolution happened and the US subsequently terminated the remainder of the order. I seem to remember Iran complaining about how they paid for more aircraft then they got a few years back. Haha.
So the Iranian aggressor may very well simply be one of the birds bound for Iran that they left in its paint scheme.
