What’s hot? It depends on several factors including manufacturer, number of units produced, livery, aircraft type, era, build quality, model condition and box condition.

Pristine, mint in the box aircraft command higher prices. Limited edition or a low serial numbered aircraft from a limited run command higher prices. Popular colour schemes and historic aircraft command higher prices etc.

Having said all that, here’s my current list of desirable a/c in 1:72:

  • Any Corgi Mosquito with D-Day invasion stripes
  • CWH CF-105 Avro Arrow Mk.1 RL203 Day-Glo Colours
  • Hobby Master HA1521 Harvard Mk IV - RCAF 20412
  • Gemini Aces GANAF5002 F-16 RNLAF Demo Team
  • Hobby Master HA1403 A-4E Skyhawk USN VA-163 Saints, John McCain, 1967
