Default HM French Air Force Mirage back-heavy?

Hi
I have bought a ALA Mirage "Operation Dageut", but found that it is back heavy.. Even unarmed, it tilts back. Is this common on HM Mirage's?

Thanks

Can't say about this model specifically, but tail sitting is a recurring problem with diecast models. Sometimes the cure is fiddling with the angle of the landing gear----hopefully, without breaking them-----which, in some cases, produces the desired result. Rumor has it that the manufactures, who used to install lead weights in the forward parts of their models to make them "sit" evenly, have been obliged to abandon this practice, causing an epidemic of tail sitting models recently.

I don't have that problem with my Mirage. Mine is the 20th Anniv Cigognes.

As Epap above suggests, try adjusting the landing gears a bit. Perhaps pushing in the nose gear further in?

Hope it works out.

Can't speak for subsequent HM Mirage 2000s, but have HA1601 and HA1602, and they are both tail sitters. HA1601 is the worse of the two as far as I can tell. Still absolutely fantastic models though, nose-gear door issues notwithstanding.

I also have HA1602, and it is a tail sitter. Love the plane, love the scheme but displaying it is pain. One of my first HM models.

I have the same problem with both of my HM Mirage. It stinks but it's fixable.
