Default Gemini 200 KC-135R Stratotanker USAF #58-0052, March ARB G2AFO385

This one just landed in my collection from the FlyingMule:

Gemini 200 Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker
USAF 452nd AMW, #58-0052, March ARB, G2AFO385

Since it is the first real KC-135R Stratotanker in 1:200 diecast, no doubt that it is a popular release. In addition, I love the red/yellow stripe on the tail. Since I live pretty close to March ARB, this model was a must-have for me. I wasn't going to wait around for the other releases. So here's some pictures for your viewing pleasure:

Size comparison between a KC-10

If you look closer, you will see me in the cockpit window

(almost the same aircraft, but close enough)

I guess both mine and SKF's plane landed at the same time

Here's some pics of my model.

Mine arrived, but the box should have read, "Some Assembly Required".

I feel your pain, I could've done the review a lot earlier but the first one I got was missing the main landing gear so I couldn't take the pictures. I had to get a replacement.

This is a great little tanker. I hope Gemini tackle the C-17 and B-52 next.

That's a sweet PA 707 CP !!! I wouldn't mind adding one myself, but it looks like it's pretty well sold out. Oh well, that leaves more money for the upcoming Corgi releases.

Gemini does have a c-17

Herpa wings did a b-52, aside from the pylons, it's decent

Mine arrived with optional left tail plane lying in the bottom of the box. Maybe the manufacturers should supply a tube of superglue so we can fix them when they arrive.
Glad these companies don't make electronics - wouldn't fancy having to finish assembling the T V.

I meant the C-5 in 1/200.

I don't like the Herpa B-52... too many issues for me: pylons, engines, rear fuselage, landing gear... I suppose it could sit at the back of the shelf, but they sell out before they go on sale. I guess it's not an issue to most buyers.

You should try the B52G version. Much better.

Exactly how I received mine. I have to assume that the Port Stabilizer Assembly Technician had the day off when our models were made.
