B-17 is good news and being a 2 piece set, comes with a Bf 109G. I guess Brit collectors would appreciate the 1:72 Vulcan bomber.

That's a lot of good stuff. Definitely getting the B-17 set and the Merlin-powered Wellington. Probably get the 109's.

The Spitfires look like the old mold... not so good.

I think they could've gone with a better B-17 scheme but nice to see one. Might pick up the Mosquito as well.

But the Vulcan is a nice surprise, will def get one.

Ouch ! 1/72 Vulcan, that's a BIG surprise ! I saw that bird flying a few years ago, what a sight ! They're still lacking funds for the next (and probably last) display season, see if you can help : Home | Vulcan To The Sky

I wonder if Corgi plans to release a French Army Puma someday ?...

Bring on the VULCAN!!! That will in 1/72 be an iconic model, on par or even upscaling the CW Blackbirds (well at least this side of the atlantic).

I wonder if Corgi will bow to the inevitable and make the Vulcan out of plastic... If they make it diecast metal, it's gonna weigh a ton, and be north of $200 likely. We'll see. Either way, I want one.

The recommended retail price is going to be GBP179,99. So that's well over $200,00.

Vulcan, Puma, GR4 and F3, looks like an expensive summer/Autumn.
Lucky for me I get some desert time in before then, lol

Interesting that they picked the only flying Vulcan left as a release...makes me wonder if some of the proceeds from the sales will go toward the real thing.

Corgi would never get away with an all-plastic----or mostly plastic ---Vulcan. More likely is a combo of metal and plastic, with the fuselage mostly or all metal while the lower halves of the wings are rendered in plastic

These models are now available for pre-order from Pete's Collectibles and The Flying Mule. They may be available elsewhere as well.

I've got the Ye Olde Pub set and the Wellington pre-ordered. Now the wait...

Vulcan on a scale of 1:72 just proves that I am not dreaming too much to want a B2 on this scale.

I have the B-17 Bf-109 set ordered with the Cat. Just could not resist the interesting history of the aircraft and their pilots. The 4th quarter of this year is going to seem like a long wait. Maybe it will be here in time for Christmas.

I took the plunge and ordered the Avro Vulcan, the Dambusters Lancaster and a Canberra Bomber.
Big hit to the wallet next January and I feel sorry for the delivery man bringing this box to the front door.

Cool Re: Corgi AA releases July-Dec 2013

No interest in the Vulcan -- far too big, and outside my scope of collecting.

On the other hand, the Scarf Blenheim Mk I looks pretty enticing, as does the Defiant (provided the markings aren't iridescent like the first release!!) I really wish Corgi would cut to the chase and just do the prototype Blenheim Mk I (K-7033).

Since neither will sell-out, I'll wait to see these in the 'mazak' first.

The Vulcan seems awesome, but maybe for Chrismas

Anybody have trouble with the alignment of the fins on the external tanks on Corgi Tornados? Mine were glued on off-angle and are all over the place. Trying to break the glue so I can re-glue it myself, but I'm worried about breaking the pylon/missiles off (mine's an F.3 so it has ASRAAMs on each side).

Not a big Corgi guy, their detail is sometimes lacking compared to HM, but occasionally something they make catches my eye...and I think I'm wanting that Vulcan.

The Vulcan has deffo been put back, can't remember what the problem has been, but I think they're desperate to make sure it's right as it's going to be one helluva huge model. Shuttle or others will know the precise date, but sure it's around Feb 2014 now.
