Default Amercom CH-46 Sea Knight 1:72

Recently picked up this Amercom CH-46 Sea Knight in 1:72. I have to say, it's a pretty cool helo. Much better than I anticipated. It is a diecast model but not that heavy (4.4 oz), still heavier that some Altaya/IXO model. Packaging is very similar to Alyaya models, clear plastic cradle over a cardboard print. Wish there were pilots in the model or the back ramp can come down like Corgi's chinook, but it's still good. Here's some pics!

Just be sure to insert the blades in the right direction!

It also has a HM-like stand.

Very nice. I've been wanting a Sea Knight for awhile now. Is Easymodels (plastic) better? If I were to buy one who makes the better model?

Thanks

I would say Americom since at least it's metal. They look identical so I might as well go for the metal one - some weight.

Thanks SKF. It looks nice. I did a search and came up with ziltch. Does anyone know of online retailers that carry this brand?

Edit: Found it $20.99. Hmmmm. Thanks G8D7, just had to loosen my search criteria.

I got the Easymodels version and I'm happy with it, but I wasn't aware a metal version existed. Nice piece.

Ive never seen amercom models at my local dealers till now, but the Easy Models what i have in my collections look just alright....judging from looks even from a feet...no one can see its from all-plastic and still looks great when displayed along with my other diecast models. Details are good too.

Looks like a great model! I just got one ordered for my so far very small collection from a very good deal on Ebay. Could you tell me a few highlights about the model? Thanks if you do.
