Default Help finding my holy grail.

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum as a registered member, though I've been reading the threads for some time. I'm trying to track down one of the older Century Wings models, and this seems like a decent resource to try and find it. I'd like to find a VF-101 Grim Reapers F-14D for my collection. If anybody can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

i guess, the best way is browsing the Ebay...it may be expensive though considering the fact that the Grim Reapers is one of the most in demand F-14 from CW...its rather to seldom or rare to see one nowadays...welcome to the forum,astronut1885...hope to see you post more often and participate in dicussions or sharing and exchanging ideas with forum member

I remember when the grim reaper first came out....it had a hard time selling. I saw it everywhere. Now everyone wants one. I personally didn't quite fancy the shark mouth...doesn't look that good on an F-14. IMHO, the holy grail is either the F-14 Vandy or the 201 Jolly Roger.

I'd also keep an eye out on the sales sections of other diecast airplane forums. you never know when one of us collectors will let one go. Sorry, I'm not letting mine go!

The Grim Reapers was for awhile the only D-model CW Tomcat available. If you want a B or D model Tomcat, The Grim Reaper and the two VF-103 Jolly Rogers are probably the best ones to get. All the other B/D model CW Tomcats have iffy QC.

Hope you find what you're looking for...at a reasonable price. GR Tomcats from CW were pricey at retail, now they're rare and very expensive. But they are a nice scheme.

I have to get some pics of my collection up on here. I got another of my sought after models today, the Hobby Master VMFA-232 Phantom. It's sitting next to my Air Command VMFA-232 F/A-18C.

I got a Reaper from ebay singapore. Theres a seller there that I noticed in his history selling a reaper like every few months, its like he has a stash of them. You wont find it on the ebay search tool because he restricts it for cash only and local pick up. But if you PM him he will sell it via paypal and post it out to you with delivery fees. I got it in like 3-5 days delivery.

stingof_bumblebee that is his username there. Its not sketchy just PM and confirm if he wants to do it. There was a topic here about it ages ago but check his seller history to confirm thats what I did, I noticed someone else from Australia purchased from him and someone in America. I contacted them users and they confirmed they got it so I went with it. I paid 200buks for it plus I think another 30 or so for delivery. But I didnt care about price I wanted one badily, this plane is my holy grail of planes also. Love the F14 and love the reapers.
