Default Witty Wings back from the dead?

While browsing thru a large retail store today, I noticed they had received alot of new stock amongst the new boxes on the shelf that caught my eye were a large stock of Witty Wings. I inquired to a staff member about these and he said they had just come in.
My question for you all, is Witty Wings really dead, or did they just kill the old company due to debts and phoenix the company again?

I don't think anyone would be able to answer your question without more details. What retail store did you visit, which models did you see ? For now I guess that this is simply left over warehouse inventory that has ended up at this retailer.

Back the city store today lots of new witty 1/72 F-18s on the shelves along with other witty jets which I didn't see before. Someone must have had a lot of old stock or manufacture has started again.

I'm guessing old stock. It looks like Herpa has taken over some moulds though. Su-27 etc.

Here's some photos. This store had at least double what you see in the photos, same for the other store. This stock wasn't there a month ago.

I'd also like to point out from that photo I posted is Witty products get the honour of getting placed on the bottom shelf in their stores

JC Wings have purchased all the Witty moulds and they have advised me they are currently producing the 1/72nd scale range, so maybe they are keeping the Witty Wings brand name for continuity and this is indeed new stock.

this is indeed news. but as for these being new stock... i suspect it's the old stock that's finally being released into the market. the factory couldn't possibly cope with producing so many different models concurrently. then again, i could be wrong.

Rumors from an insider: Witty's 1/400 moulds have been taken over by JC, and its 1/72 moulds are in Herpa's hands now (you may already see 1/72 Su-27 and Mig-29 in Herpa's new releases).

Actually the 1:72 moulds are in JC's hands. JC manufactures some of Herpa's models for them
