Talking More diecast TWA's

Hello all, I was wondering if a quality manufacturer could build some 1:200 TWA models. I lived in St.louis as a kid, and the first airplane I saw from the moment my memory cells began recording was a TWA 727, and a MD-8x(I don't remember what form of md-8x as I was like 2 yo) my eyes have been skyward since.

Im really after the late 80's-90's ones, as well as the older 707, DC-8, Convair 880/990's .

I have a 990 astrojet from inflight200....was not pleased with the right rear landing gear falling off! So, not willing to shell out for them again. Awaiting delivery of a SMA md-11 so hoping they're much better. Is there another manufacturer that makes top notch TWA's?

In 1:200, Gemini Jets released a 727-100 and a DC-9-15 in the twin globes scheme, a 767-200 in the twin stripes livery, and a 727-200 and a 757-200 in TWA's final livery.

InFlight 200 released several TWA models. There are 707-300s in the delivery scheme, twin globes scheme, "CargoJet" twin globes scheme, and both of the twin stripes schemes (outline titles and bold titles). There's a CV-880, a 727-200, a 747-100 and an L-1011 in the twin globes scheme. In the twin stripes scheme, the aforementioned 707s, a 727-200, and two 747-100 and two L-1011 models. Finally, in the final livery, there's a 727-200 (plus a twin 722 wearing the St. Louis Rams football helmet) and an L-1011.

Phoenix 200 released a 727-100 in the twin stripes scheme.

Jet-X 200 put out a TWA MD-80 in the reverse-red "Wings Of Pride" twin stripes livery, an MD-80 in the final scheme and a twin sister with the "Wings Of Pride" logo, and also an MD-80 in the polished metal American Airlines/TWA hybrid livery.

I'll have to look for and get those. ESP the Convair. Kinda leery about inflight200. Now I got it back in but taking it out the package, one of the landing gear fell off of my American 990A. Not a serious problem as its staying in place now but was disappointing to say the least ESP for the cost.

I agree 100%! A wish of mine is for a Gemini200 TWA MD-80. Although it hasn't happened yet, we can always try to convince them. I encourage you to send messages to the manufactures directly with your requests, they have often replied in my experience. In fact, I now own two models I requested Gemini to create. (Piedmont 727, American MD-80, 2nd release, both 1:200.) I actually just sent them a message requesting a TWA MD80, and encourage you to do the same. Who knows, maybe they will listen

The only TWA twin-stripes I would like Gemini 200 to make are; the MD-80 & 727-200, that's all... Just those two birds and I'll be the happiest guy alive...
