As we are throwing around model suggestions, how about a Cebu Pacific A330 in 1/200? That's a stunning plane.

I'd also love a Transaero 747-400, but I am not sure it would sell as well.

No seriously : these are just model planes that cost around $50 each ( just average ). They go into a collection and look stunning in a collection of a persons personal choice.
No one has the right to sit there infront of their computer and tell them they have no standards, eye for detail or whatever....when they do they just fool themselves that they look important and elected as a voice.
Well thats not the case.

Unfortunately everytime this bozzo posts we all come out and react - its almost comic...
Unfortunately his credability for opinions is lost - lucky his product makes up the difference. Bit bizzare the whole affair really!

Oh well....back to the topic....

Willy thats great news about the SQ A380...that will be a must get item.
Any talk about some 744 releases like :
Qantas Wunala/Nalanji
SQ Tropical and ANA Marine whale!!!!

So many good subjects to do!!!!
It is very comical though, that you guys actually take yourselves so seriously in your defense of the indefensible!!

aklein707......Jeff, as "panic buyer in chief", your words are meaningless, and JC's quality, or lack thereof, speaks for itself. In your AND ONLY your opinion
I speak as a collector, who owns more than 6,000 models, The amount of a collection is irrelevant . all out on display. I do have standards though, and sadly, except for a choice few, which I have given JC credit for, they just don't come up to the standards of others. Again in your opinion
You may chose to buy elsewhere to spite me, but you're only fooling yourself, and you know it!! Actually I am not fooling myself

As for the dealer with the boxes full of old AC, that represents ALL THAT IS LEFT. AC is in the business of making quality collectibles, not warehousing them. The boxes a select dealer still has, represents 12 years of production, and over 2,000 releases. In retrospect, that's nothing!! Did you know JC has a massive warehouse in the NT of HKG with hundreds of thousands of Dollars in unsold production he can only unload when he gives it away for Pennies on the Dollar?? And this is relevant because ?

Sadly, the panic buyers like you, who refuse to educate themselves about quality models, will continue to keep these blokes in business. Your rush purchase of the Aeroflot 777 is proof positive of that!! You kept warning that Phoenix was about to release one-hasn't happened . I am very satisfied with my SU B773 . All the people who listened to you missed out on a very nice diecast .I, unlike you, will patiently wait for PHX or GJ to make it. In the end, I will not have rushed to buy the first one, but I will have waited to buy the best one!! No. In the end don't give out false information for your followers to go by. In the end collectors will purchase what they want to purchase . In the very end I don't like the comments that you said about me behind my back. In front of me is not a problem. I can handle people like you . To everyone who reads this my issue is with Andrew Klein and NOT with the quality of product that Aeroclassics releases . My collection of 600+ includes Aeroclassics
Happy Collecting!! I am extremely happy with my collection and collecting

Jc Willy,

If you want to produce better models and get more customers, find a way to interact them them.

I know a aviation fan who helps phoenix with info, detail and quality and look how they are progressing, He can also tell them when things arent 100% and they improve next time around, Hes also had a massive input into some of the good liverys coming out despite resistance from what the Phoenix CEO thinks is better, He and others are proving to be correct and help phoenix grow,

Take the criticism from Andrew and improve, When you have improved, He may have to admit to actually buying a JC like he frequently buys phoenix.

As usual, "real collectors" are only those who agree with Andrew's consistent yet nonsensical and ineffective rhetoric. He has no choice but to resort to trolling DAC and hijacking JC threads to interject his usual garbage.

Bragging about how many models you have? What a frickin joke.

Thumbs up 1/200

These would be nice to research if not done yet to be released, e.g. most any Fokker 70 or Fokker 100

With the fantastic release of the Virgin F100, I wouldn't mind adding a Silkair F70 in either 1:200 or 1:400

The merger of KLM with Air France in May 2004 created Air France-KLM, which is incorporated under French law with headquarters at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Both Air France and KLM continue to fly under their distinct brand names. Air France-KLM is part of the SkyTeam alliance -wiki

now the french can interact easier w/ KLM, then their way of thinking can affect things in klm

Jetair = Ignorant people do not understand the jargon or nickname which ever it its. Jetair is not a common word for Jetairfly & almost all people don't know it's significance. I did a search & found two entries, yours & one other.
Jetair was a brand name for model planes, which i found more entries for; 5

We now have the Virgin Australia F-100 and F-50 (excellent releases).
Will we get to see the Alliance Air F-100 and F-50 which fly in Australia?
Here's hoping...

I can find the two F100, once plain and once with TAT titles, both in older colors. Which one is the third?

I would appreciate a new colors one, although I know that Gemini made one. But the Gemini is hard to get hold of.

JC Willy,

talking about 1/500, Herpa is the only manufacturer left producing narrowbodies. Unfortunately, they can only sell licensed products. As you now produce the models for Herpa you own the moulds, why don't you start separately selling unlicensed narrowbodies in 1/500 labelled as JC_Wings? One of the most interesting models would surely be an easyJet A319!

Just because Herpa gives work to JC's factory, it does not transfer ownership of their property to that factory.
That being said, JC has been sleazy enough in past to use their customer's tooling to compete against them, so there's nothing stopping them from honoring your request.

Sadly though, since JC has taken over Herpa production, Herpa's quality has gone down the toilet, and most models are uncollectible. I have passed on most new Herpas over the last 2 years or so due to poor quality, faulty construction, and incorrect colors. The recent YELLOW Saudi A330 comes to mind. A320s with huge dihedral are also a sad joke!

It's a pity JC has ruined the hobby with their consistently shoddy quality. While no manufacturer is perfect, JC has a proven track record of being consistently the worst, and have lowered the bar, and the hobby's standards significantly.

Wow. I must be extremely lucky because my JCW/Herpa (1:200) experience has been exactly the opposite.

Again mate, READ the f-ing post I was replying to! The author EVEN HIGHLIGHTED "1/500".

Herpa's 1/400 & 1/200 remain of the finest!!

Stop putting words in other people's mouth, and stop provoking arguments just for the sake of arguing! Can you honestly defend a YELLOW Saudi A330??
A320's with B787 dihedral? Air China A340 with 1/600 or 1/700 cockpit? Come up with something constructive, or go wank-off elsewhere!!

Problem is your flaming this whole argument everytime you fire off about your personal issues with other manufacturers......
I have plenty of 'yellowing' models from the good 'ol days of 1:500 collecting and I can choose whether to sit there and whinge about it or get on with it - I choose the later but you sir intend on whinging about old arguments that are bother outdated, irrelevant, not constructive and simply annoying to the reader.
I am choosing to highlight your lack of constructive input when JC wings are being discussed. You have some really good feedback about so much else but you are going to get slammed everytime you open your foul mouth and start crapping on about some political issue you have .... which to us collectors (majority I believe ) has no impact on how we purchase. Do you understand this concept at all!?

That is as constructive as it gets.....

Give it a break and give the collectorate a break on your truth detection or bollocks producing tripe that was once quite funny to read but now just a waste of bandwidth and readers time.....

This last line is the biggest load of rubbish yet.
Facts...
1/400...IL86/F50/F28 etc etc are sensational moulds ( yes I agree the 777 needs work but we all agree on that )
1/200...virtually all their releases are fantastic...nothing bad there.

They have a proven track record to produce the majority of decent & acceptable models....both in 1:400 and 1:200. They are at least giving it a go, showing modesty and respect on this forum and diversifying.

You sir are not....just talking crapola once again.

seems like Mr klein has been too busy minding JC's business and neglected his own qc problems with the recent AC releases hehehe. I like it that JC is focusing more on the 1:200 market with fantastic releases and doing less of the 1:400(hopefully no more 777). Keep up the improvements!

I'll agree; let JC stick with 1/200 and stop polluting the 1/400 market.
As to recent alleged AC QC neglect, I'm unaware of any legitimate problems as of late.

Well, from a collector's point of view, I want more competition in 1/500 - especially talking about narrowbodies where Herpa has the monopole. And apart of JC I don't see any possible competition in this section: Hogan keeps quiet, Sky500 and Aero500 stick to widebodies and release only a few models
That being said I don't want JC to ruin Herpa - although I don't think that some low-production runs (like Sky500) would be a big competition to Herpa which has wide-spread retail system. Herpa still keeps releasing models which have already been done by Sky500.

I only partially agree with you. Yes, some models are now *** (A320s, B707, B757 B747-100/200/300/400/SP) but there are some other models which are quite well done: E145, CRJ900, E190, IL-86/96, 747-8. The current 737 is way better than Hogan's mould but still not perfect.
About incorrect colors: those errors must not occur to a licensed manufacturer who knows the correct shade! Also misplaced cockpit windows (see CityJet F50) are unforgivable!

Default 1/200 ALL the colors

Since these are produced already in 1/400, i assume they would be not so hard to produce in 1/200 if they sold well enough in the smaller scale?

A SIA Tropical would be wonderful in 1/200! If both were to be made, i hope they would be released 6 months to a year apart.... Its not easy dropping $$$ on two 747 models!
So... When will JC release a Wunala Dreaming in 1/200? It would be an instant sell out, and the crown jewel for many collectors...
