I've mentioned this elsewhere before, but why don't you get more involved with 1:200? The items that you have been involved with behind the scenes have been extremely well received. Care to comment (at risk of going off topic)? PM would be OK too. Your call, Mr. AK.

Hi JC,

I hope someday you may consider some 747's that have not made an appearance in 1/200 scale:

Some may have been release by another company, but with your prices in a more reasonable range, you'll have a good spread of interest from collectors... If somehow, some way, manufacturing could get the selling prices just under $100 USD, this would allow a broader scope of collectors to collect 747's in 1/200.

Enough of the green stripe liveries, lets see one of these!

I like the 747 photos you posted and since Gemini 200 just rolled out the spectacular A380 for under $ 120; I think your request for a 747 to be around $100 sounds reasonable to me! Cheers! T7

Hello JC....How are you again? If you plan on releasing a Fokker F28/100/1000 or 4000 why not make it so that the rear speed brakes are hinged? That would be creative, innovative and has never been done before. That would put you on the map, again!

Thanks to Hamas, even the 1:1 scale don't exist anymore. No need for a model to remind us of the injustice and suffering some of the Palestinian leaders have brought upon themselves.

aklein707....OK if that's your thought about JC, why doesn't AC release what I asked about with the Fokkers?
Now that I again have your attention, what about the Republic Airlines B727-200 (last livery) or the Amerijet B727C with winglets?

That would certainly be nice because of AK's appreciation for the classics. I can only dream of a 1:200 F-27 that looks as good as the Aeroclassics F-27 - among others.

In 1/400, surely not Jeff? We have enough problems with rolling gears and don't need moving gimmicks. These are not toys but scale models.
GJ already tried it with moving tail stabs on their 1/400 VC10s which would fall off quite easily.

The missing B.707s still needed to be done in 1/400: Uganda Airlines, Air Zimbabwe (rainbow scheme), Air Niugini.

DC-8s still needed to be done in 1/400: UAT, Iberia ('80s scheme), Air Ceylon, Surinam Airways, Air Spain, Seaboard World (-63CF)

Aeroclassics Comets still missing- Dan Air (4 & 4C), United Arab Airlines/Misrair/Egyptair, Kuwait AW, Sudan AW, East African AW, Saudi Royal Flt.

I actually like the gimmicks (the moving tail stab makes for an interesting...display)...if they actually, like, work and not break when an air molecule suddenly moves. GJ has done it with rolling gears sometimes, not many.

JC WINGS/ Willy,

You have opened this thread as a means of supposed communication but you don't even say anything.

On the other hand your competition is bashing you everyday.

I have to give him points for his participation in your thread. At least he has initiative.

While you state that you see this everyday, you seriously need to respond. You may feel it a waste of time to respond to your competitors bashing, but you should respond to the requests from your customers.

At minimum you should respond once a week. No matter how busy you are in life. Taking 2-3 minutes to type a simple response to your customers is good business practice. You are after all, the marketing manager. What else is your job if not marketing to people?

If you really are too busy, please do give up your post to someone else who is more passionate about marketing JC Wings. Nothing personal here, just suggesting becuase I am a JC wings fan and would like to company to grow better.

Very noble of you, however, it would be better for the hobby if JC disappeared forever!!

Those guys don't care about the collectors; they're just in it for a quick buck, and make their biggest scores off the "panic buyers" who'll buy anything, regardless of how poor the quality is.
Since JC started manufacturing for GJ & Herpa, they caused those 2 good names to falter, due to poor/failing QC.

Why not? As I said, we always try our best to absorb the precious ideas from our collectors. And my boss actually come here everyday, though he seldom leaves a message. Unlike someone else, we hate leaving tonnes of bull-**** messages only to destroy a competitor's reputation.

Thanks very much for all your effort. Many of your opinions are very useful.

Some of you do know me personally, or at least have talked with me and my boss on email or eBay or somewhere else. I am happy to be friends of you all. Frankly, I am jealous of Mr. Klein's free time leaving so many rubbish here. But now what I can do is only to take note to interesting ideas and report to my boss or reflect to my team, and ignore all non-sense attacks.

If you agree that JCWings is making better models now, I can tell you that your opinions and ideas is always a very important reason.

You sound just like USA government who complain about nonsense scandals, even though they are real!
What I say about your production is also real; sadly, in all this time, you guys continue to lower the bar on the hobby, and have sent everything into regression.
If my company performed as poorly as yours, I too would be in hiding for months at a time!

As for the emotional outburst from others in the forum, it's probably a symptom of (emotional or mental) health issues to take such things so personally. This behavior has made me cringe & visit less because i was blind sided by the minority of negative "vocal" members. I was really surprised by how they effected me....

I have been told by a couple of other members this is unfortunately common on collection forums where the health issues cause all kinds of unnecessary angst in their posts.

Dear Willy, I do have interacted with you and/or your boss and while JCW is sometimes a little hard to get hold of you are normally very friendly and offer good service. I understand your time constraints but I think a regular presence here would benefit us all. And if you just ignore comments by members obviously unfriendly to JCW that would free up some of your time - and look mature and confident. ;-)

I do not know how your processes work, but maybe you could try to post detailed photos of model prototypes here on DA.C. Then the members could discuss and there might be constructive criticism that would help you improve the final production version of the model. The model would be superior and thus - hopefully - sell even better.

To sum up, more community involvement during development could mean higher customer satisfaction and higher sales, making it a win-win.

This is a great idea, especially with the upcoming MD-11 in 200 scale (which I am particularly excited about!) otherwise you can end up with some disgraceful moulds such as the Hobby master A310 and MD-11.

There are lots of collectors on here who would be able to give you constructive criticism to help make your new products look as close to the real thing as possible!

You obviously haven't been around long enough if you can't figure out how their process works!!

They're in it for the quick buck, and cater to the "panic buyer". They don't give a hoot about accuracy or quality!! Their track record is proof of that!!

This is a nice little stage for you isn't it!!!!

Your propanganda is nothing but boring bollocks that has no place here.

Take your whinge stick and go home. Either add something positive or relevant or just buzz off!!!!

Regards
Panic Buyers Inc...

Willy - I agree with you. Just make the models, be polite and dont lower yourself to the depths of other jokers......
Your participation and contribution to the hobby is welcomed. Just some old [email protected] cant handle the truth - we and the hobby have expanded and moved on - thats the real truth detection.
Sure some moulds require tweaking as do other brands but brands like Herpa, DW PHX AND AEROCLASSICS all had that period as well.....

Keep rockin'!!!!

Singapore A380 is already scheduled

For Thai, I rather keep it a little bit secret at this moment.

Hi Willy....It's important to continue the excellent quality that you are producing. I would love to see Air China "Smiling China" in 1/400. I have it in 1/200 and it is truly a work of art. Don't listen to the BS that spreads around here from a few who have made themselves the chosen few. Their comments are not the reflection of most of us here. When someone puts people or things down it is because they have the issues, not you. Competition by manufacturers keeps the prices down and the quality goes up. There is no perfect product out there just almost perfect manufacturing. Again I would love to see you get back in the 1/400 business. There are so many B773s that need to be released that have not. Examples are Air China "Smiling China", Biman, Transaero,; A330-200fs of Tampa Cargo, B772fs and more freighters. The other companies seem to have lost that market.

aklein707........"Phoenix A380 & 777 are so much better; why waste time encouraging more junk from these scabs!" Your negative comments are becoming redundant. We've all heard your rants and raves. We all know your position as far as your competition goes. Give it up already. I am so tired of listening to your BS I have decided to purchase other manufacturers. Not because of the lack of Aeroclassic's quality. I really like your product but there is a balance here. Do I continue to put money in your pocket and propel your rants or do I move on to other companies that work very hard to produce excellent product. My choice is clear.
Yes I know Andrew. You don't care because the dealers have already paid you . Lee Iacocca was an excellent spokesman/President at Chrysler. Steve Jobs was an excellent spokesman/owner of Apple. Jeff Bezos for Amazon but you, you should follow in their footsteps.
Incidentally you always say that ACs are sold out always. Not true. Maybe from you but not the dealers.
When I was at the huge collectable show in CLE one dealer had boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes full of ACs. Starting at $10 for 1/400s. He couldn't give them away. Including Air Greenland

Jeff, as "panic buyer in chief", your words are meaningless, and JC's quality, or lack thereof, speaks for itself.
I speak as a collector, who owns more than 6,000 models, all out on display. I do have standards though, and sadly, except for a choice few, which I have given JC credit for, they just don't come up to the standards of others.
You may chose to buy elsewhere to spite me, but you're only fooling yourself, and you know it!!

As for the dealer with the boxes full of old AC, that represents ALL THAT IS LEFT. AC is in the business of making quality collectibles, not warehousing them. The boxes a select dealer still has, represents 12 years of production, and over 2,000 releases. In retrospect, that's nothing!! Did you know JC has a massive warehouse in the NT of HKG with hundreds of thousands of Dollars in unsold production he can only unload when he gives it away for Pennies on the Dollar??

Sadly, the panic buyers like you, who refuse to educate themselves about quality models, will continue to keep these blokes in business. Your rush purchase of the Aeroflot 777 is proof positive of that!! I, unlike you, will patiently wait for PHX or GJ to make it. In the end, I will not have rushed to buy the first one, but I will have waited to buy the best one!!
Happy Collecting!!

I thought I was the Panic Buyer in chief. Jeffin we should start a poll and work out who is top dog!!

No seriously : these are just model planes that cost around $50 each ( just average ). They go into a collection and look stunning in a collection of a persons personal choice.
No one has the right to sit there infront of their computer and tell them they have no standards, eye for detail or whatever....when they do they just fool themselves that they look important and elected as a voice.
Well thats not the case.

Unfortunately everytime this bozzo posts we all come out and react - its almost comic...
Unfortunately his credability for opinions is lost - lucky his product makes up the difference. Bit bizzare the whole affair really!

Oh well....back to the topic....

Willy thats great news about the SQ A380...that will be a must get item.
Any talk about some 744 releases like :
Qantas Wunala/Nalanji
SQ Tropical and ANA Marine whale!!!!

So many good subjects to do!!!!
