Question Any of you purchased from The Flying Mule

I've seen them on EBay and knew later on of their official website.
Any of you care to share their experience buying from their site?

I happen to have done a chat with someone telling that he ordered something in there that was listed new and IN STOCK only to receive an apologetic response and said that they don't have the plane he ordered and that he'll have to wait several more days for their shipment to arrive before his order is actually shipped to him...

I don't really like that to happen to me... By all means!

If it were the case, or if you've come across such an inconvenience with their business, how do they settle their faults?

I just did a large order from them, a little over $200. Bought 4 HM 1/72 planes and got a HM F-111 free. Thought that was a good deal. Quick response and tracking info sent right away

I have bought from them on-and-off over the last 6-8 years and I have never had any issue whatsoever. Their box they packed the last model in (a year or so back) was a little soft (re-used a few times). Model arrived well intact though.

If I was still into military I'd occasionally buy from them again without hesitation.

I bought from there, very very fast delivery for international, cheap shipping, cheap planes than other places even for compared to other ebay sellers. Package is safely packed, you get shipping info, you get bonus stuff in bulk.

Well if that is the worst thing to happen to a collector in a week then they truly live a charmed life.

I rather a retailer told me a delay with shipping the model than saying sorry out of stock we can't complete your order.

In terms of the Flying Mule, I have seen no serious complaints and would consider purchasing from them if need be.

In terms of faults, issues, disputes etc Diecast aircraft can be expensive items. Whenever you enter into a business transaction always ensure you have some sort of consumer protection. Credit card, pay pal etc. If anything goes wrong at least you have something to get your money back. Lastly, always read the terms and conditions of the retailers business policy.

No issues with the mule so far. Would buy from them again if necessary.

Their website is great I have to add.

Wow! That's something! The price of the free aircraft should still be worth their income and still give them out for free!

Sounds good, cause I'm starting to really love military aircraft myself. I think I'm okay with re-used boxes as long as it does not have holes in them... I guess they'll use some inner cushion/protection as well...

Bonus item when you order in bulk!!! Pretty consistent with the reply from one member up there! This store must be amazing!

Very fast delivery is everything to me -- specially if you want to keep the excitement alive, you want your item arrive fast!

I think we all live a charmed life! We're so blessed to be able to collect luxurious items such as die-cast collectibles while some others do not have this opportunity, and at times, never knew of such collectibles at all.

On the other hand, I don't really think you need to have a charmed life just to be assured what they say need not be broken. At this point, it's completely illogical.

Well, it should have already been assuring that when someone tells you that they something "new and in-stock" items plus "will ship one day after receiving payment" that they'll commit to ship asap. If they don't have an item and indicates it is in-stock along with all those other promises, then don't you think that is a failure on their behalf. Asking you to wait because they tell you that there'll be a delay because they still do not have an item in-stock is contrary to their promise of being able to ship "in one day". You can't ship what you don't have. They should have known this better.

Credit cards and Paypal would be a good combo. You can always get your money back IF it becomes a necessity...

That's great! A website people can trust sounds good to me... But to avoid any mishap, I'll conclude that I'll have too ask the store first before even placing any order.

I'll also advice my friend to be forgiving, cause I think this store seems to have a good profile to many and they can be dealt with politely since he did mention they were apologetic... But I really wish what the store indicated online was correct and certain on the first place.
