Unhappy End of an era: last 747 flight to Rio de Janeiro

Air France Boeing 747-400 F-GITI (flight AF442) departed from CDG few minutes ago en route to Rio de Janeiro. It will be the last regular 747 flight to Rio (the 747 will be replaced by 777-300).

The aviation is going to be more boring every day!

That makes three of us. Don't get me wrong, I love the 777s and A330s, but I really love the 747 the most.

That´s very sad. My father in law flew this very bird a couple of months ago.

Don't worry, the 748 will be flying soon...and 747s will return to Rio someday.

Indeed, but it has nothing to do with Concorde!
