Anyone knowing how to contact them and most important getting an answer ? I've emailed them several times from different email addresses regarding missing models in my last order, but to no avail. Any idea would be welcome.

Hi Mystere,

I figured you already new about the numerous order problems from Collectable Jets threads in the 200 and 400 forums over the last year.

What I gather is that Collectable Jets could not sustain the number of manufacturers they had brought onboard and as a result, they ran into money problems. From that point, they lost credit with distributor(s) and had to jettison about three manufacturers to stay afloat. Credit problems are the reason for extremely slow preorder shipments to Collectable Jets. Also, this retailer is really a part-time operation and customer service has suffered immensely with poor communications, slow delivery and botched orders.

I experienced this with my last order about a year ago and will never go back. On the flip side, Collectable Jets was an excellent retailer under the original owner and I never had a problem at that time.

P.S. Having worked in the cargo shipline industry since 1986, I thought you might be interested to know that CMA-CGM (America) is based here in Norfolk, Va.

Thank you for your answer. Although I noticed the rising amount of complaints about him during the last 6 month, he's not my main model supplier but I order from him from time to time. I'm aware of his part-time operation, which was not a real issue to me as long as models finally arrived, even if quite slowly. Now missing models (3 out of 11 !) is new to me, and if he's not able to solve this problem he won't get my business anymore, that's for sure !

I had the same order botched twice with this retailer. Ordered 2 models, and only got one of them in the initial shipment. The second one that arrived was the wrong plane.

The communication was quick in my case, though.

Well, how about this...if you are the owner of Collectible Jets, why don't you explain what's happening? If you aren't, do you know what's up? If not, then you are full of crap yourself and should not be poking sticks in other people's eyes.

400 sh dropped collectable jets as a sponsor due to the overwhelming number of complaints from members with orders charged for and not arriving etc etc
I dont think his business will be around for much longer, feel sad for the guys who purchased and never got what they have paid for.

Ok, problem solved. Misunderstanding from my part and communication lost along the way were to blame.
