Default USPS Delays

Anyone else seeing big delays?

I’ve got a parcel from RM Modelstore that’s been stuck in NJ for two weeks now (Shipped priority) and still not
moving even though it’s only coming up to Boston. Every parcel seems to go straight to delivery exception for some reason.

I had a previous one with about a week delay. Yet others coming cross country from California have been fine or even early!!

A few months ago I had stuff that sat in Jersey distribution for up to a week. Thankfully nothing I've ordered recently had to go through Jersey!

You'll get it eventually!

Had to put in a missing mail request as still no movement and was starting to drop off tracking… I hope it turns up!

I cant believe I am going to post this as it goes totally against everything I know and have said about the USPS.

Two Inflight models (757,767) mailed from Burbank California to Orlando Florida..
Sent Saturday October 16th via Priority Mail..arrived in Orlando and delivered Monday October 18th. 2 days...$20.00 Great job USPS!

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"

I’ve seen similar for the cross country shipments, California to the east coast has been quicker than expected which is amazing but Jersey to Mass is over two weeks and no movement at all!

I have also been pleased with the USPS over the last few months. Whenever I personally ship something, I use UPS. The giant disappointment, long before COVID, is FedEx Ground. Honestly, I think you have to pass some kind of idiot test to work at the local facility here. Everything sits there for an extra day, two days, three days…it doesn’t really matter other than you know it’s not going to be on time.

Then when they do deliver, they always leave it near the garage. I always have all of my profiles setup for front door because it’s a covered front porch. UPS, USPS, Amazon and FedEx Express always make it to the front door. The idiots at Ground always leave it next to a closed garage door so you get the added bonus of running it over if you don’t see it. Even better when it’s raining and they still leave it out in the rain rather than walk to the front door.

Pre-COVID, they would scan packages as being delivered and then magically they would show up the next day. Now since the guarantee is still suspended for ground, they don’t even bother trying to lie. I wish they would add a delivery manager change option where you could pay them to give it to UPS.
