Default Funko Pop! - Pan Am Stewardess

I'm posting this here, because I thought, as aviation enthusiasts, you might be inetersted in something like this.

From the same company that brought the Pan Am board game recently, Funko had just recently released a line of Pan-Am stewardesses all in different variations. Photo below.

Well today Funko dropped an exclusive on their website, which is sold exclusively there (it's the one on the far left with the Funko logo beneath it). The other 3 can be purchased anywhere that sells Funko Pops.

Here is the link if anyone is interested in these. I plan on taking some photos with them and my 1:200 models

https://www.funko.com/shop/details/a...gnite&affsrc=1

This is not the typical type of product they put out, and as such has been getting some hate throughout social media, so I felt I would throw this out to people who would actually appreciate these. Hopefully we can support Funko with their decision to make them

Try out this link instead to their main website, then just look at the top of the page and you'll see a link for the Pan-Am stewardess.

www.funko.com

My apologies if the original link didn't work. They really are very cool! Much nicer in person once you see it

I wonder if Leslie/Lesley (don't recall how she spells her name) knows about these? I remember she collects them.

Yeah, she does from what I understand. We've compared notes in a previous thread about Funkos.

Funko Pop definitely borrowed the 1930s Max Fleischer Studio creation of the iconic Jazz Age flapper, Betty Boop. These Pan Am stewardesses and other characters in their lineup feature the same head shape, big eyes and small body.

Good question. Lots of collectors keep them in box and swear by this, but there are also a lot of people who love taking them out, which makes a ton of sense. I do a little bit of both, but I def plan on taking them out of box for photos with my models

Yeah, I've seen these listed for sale from time to time. They are nice!

My Funky Funko hostess with the mostess arrived yesterday! Nice, but glad I didn't get the whole set as she is a little big for displaying with planes. Looks weird! I will put her with some of my other airline related items in my hobby closet so I will see her then.

Oh wow, these look really awesome!! I had no idea these existed. I'll have to check these out too.

My Funko arrived last week as well, and love everything about it, including the packaging. The scale of the figure def doesn't match the scale of our models, and I should have clarified, but I feel like they look really good as a complimentary piece

I'm going to try some angled perspective shots with the figure and my models to see how that would look. I'll hopefully have some pics soon!!
