Images from eBay
I'm a leisurely plane-spotter with pix of my own on file, but when I see something of interest on the net, I go for it - here are a couple I bought on eBay. The first, a black and white print, scanned from an original of PanAm DC-7CF N735PA Clipper Caroline. 23 ladies, and four lucky dudes, except the guy far left, he's out of the running - looks as if they're deplaning from a flight back home from Europe (what is this group?). Probably taken 1958 or thereabouts.
The color image is from an original Kodachrome slide taken at Frankfurt and processed in Germany, April, 1994. Lufthansa's 'other DC-8', a series 70. We're waiting on a 1/400 example, and Gemini Jets, or AeroClassics, please jump in.
