Need help from person in UK/EU to ship model to US
I recently discovered a model I had no idea existed. I was fortunate enough to find one on eBay, but it's located in Liverpool and the seller won't ship to America. It's a 1:200 scale 787. It's a model of an actual aircraft I've flown on twice, so it's a must-have for me. I can either buy it and have it shipped to you, then reimburse you for postage to ship it to me, or you can buy it then ship it to me upon receipt and I'll reimburse you for the total. If any of you would be willing to assist, please PM me.

There is a website called "http://www.borderlinx.com/US/bx-us/en/". Check them out..They may have service that they provide from UK as well.

This is a great idea, but I've spent the past 30 minutes trying to find the GET STARTED NOW or click REGISTER in the main menu icons on their website. It is nowhere to be found regardless of the browser I use. If I try to contact them via email, I receive the message, "There was an unexpected error while processing your request. Please try again." If I try to request a callback, I receive an error regarding my telephone number, no matter which format I use to input it.
Hopefully, someone on here will be willing to assist.
Have never tried them. But explore at your own risk. My word of advice is to keep all the payments through channels like PayPal even while using portals like these.
Few months ago, I had to purchase a bunch of Luke Ozawa's books on Aviation photography which were available only in Japan. Those sellers would not ship to USA. I used a similar option "www.whiterabbitexpress.com". It was one of the smoothest transaction...Kept all my payments through PayPal.
Hey, did you check out the book "Farewell Boeing 747 deel 2: Queen of the skies (Stichting Farewell 9789082466690)"? It is a great compilation of KLM 747-400 details...

I think this might work. I'm awaiting a confirmation from them regarding the UK delivery address.
I've not seen or heard of the book! But I'm more of a Virgin Atlantic and British Airways collector these days, and there's no way to change my member name on here.

Just going by your ID, I thought you follow KLM as well....
Good luck. :-)

I still have the Herpa Premium KLM 747, and to compliment it I bought the Farewell book for KLM 747. It has some beautiful photos of the Queen...

I cannot begin to thank these two gentlemen for extending their offer to assist me. It truly touched me. Ta muchly, guys.
I'll be certain to post photos of it when I receive it. I'll now have models of two Virgin Atlantic 787s I've flown on (when GJ's G-VZIG is shipped out). It is beyond cool to me.
