Default Pricing question

I have a Qantas 747-200 G2QFA567 in 1/200 that I want to sell. There was just a new release of this aircraft but with a different number. Is the older model worth more than the new model or the same? Thanks

thats a hard one to call. If someone is hell bent on having the original and missed out on it then you can get more for it. However, the reality is in most cases once a duplicate model from the same manufacturer comes out but different registration the original is just worth the fair market value,

I messed up by not selling it a few months ago. I'm not trying to profit off of it but it's so saturated right now there's no way I can sell it. Thanks for the response

..... To me, every model is worth only as much as what someone is willing to pay or the price you feel it is worth. To sell, the later is less reliable value than the former. The trick is always finding someone to meet your price or offer what you find acceptable. I've learned to be flexible with selling.
.... well that was no help, was it? Dave

It was and I appreciate it. I'm flexible with selling it. Don't want to give it away but I'm not looking to make any money on it. Thanks for your time

Whatever the original sells for (high or low) is the FMV. Supply and Demand determine the price, Econ 101.
