Default Flawed Models You Won't Part With

As we all know, no model is 100% perfect and some have very bad factory flaws.

What model(s) do you have that have an obvious flaw that you can "overlook" because you just love that aircraft and/or livery?

Mine is the JCW 1:200 Air Canada Airbus A340-500 in delivery colors. I'm a big fan of A340-600s and -500s. But for some reason the manufactures can't get the window line right on the -500s. Thankfully the -600s look good.

Despite the flaw I can overlook it with the Air Canada because of aircraft type and livery. It is such a cool livery on that airplane. Sad it had a short service life.

I have several., Here are my faves

Air Canada C-FRAM 773 Blue Toothpaste. Engines too small, etc etc. I LOVE that plane no matter what the faults are. Currently on my fifth one, having sold four previous ones

Any Phoenix 787. I LOVE the quality of the paint and the looks of the models no matter what people say. Let them complain all they want, I am happy.

Mine are the Aeroclassics A321's with Sharklets that still are not the correct A321 wing.

For me, it would have to be my Phoenix 1:200 Boeing House (sunrise) 747-8i. The cockpit windows look a tad bigger than they should be, but it's reeeeally difficult not to love this plane....no matter what the issues are.

None, it is great not to be a rivet counter and have bad eyesight. If those two don't take care of worries over a model, alcohol is the third thing to help overcome any complaints!

I once got a 1:400 Airtours A330 model, one I had flown on and met my collection criteria. Unfortunately the engines were straight off the 1:500 production line...

Aeroclassics Olympic Airways and Air India Airbus A300s - both with the window cheatline printed too high!
