After replacing some of my Orchids after some rough times I been through about 10 plants died, due to bad care and also the reaction of not going well with my own mental state of mind but also due to situations throughout my family, anyways I kind of regained my strength and bought new ones and continued to care for them how I should of cared for the ones I have lost, the flowers are new for the most of them so that is a good sign :-)
Everything seems to be going better now for this part :-)

Thank you there man well the Dino-Riders I Started collecting on March 22, 1987 and completed it on November 22, 2013 exactly 26 years and 8 months pure dedication to be honest and that was my first real collection.

As the Dino's go I have a Paleontology, Dino & Minerals collecting community here at Facebook btw:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/DinoMinerals/

Some years later I got more in to 3dfx graphics cards, with that I used to have varied 3dfx Engineering Samples and Promotion boards, I now am Co-owner of the x-3dfx community we are now located @ Facebook which is here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/x3dfx/

And here our old forum:
x3dfx Forums

Here my old collection from 2006:

here from an other angle:

Took this shot in 2007:

My best cards I had were by far these:

Top:
3dfx Velocity 200 AGP 16MB Rev.A0 2699
Center:
3dfx Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700 (1st Card) & 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 PCI_LCD 64MB Rev.A1 2900 (From 3dfx Apple Group)
Bottom:
3dfx Voodoo5 6000 AGP 128MB Rev.A 3700 + Late Voodoo Volts.

Top = My Second 3dfx Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700 Engineering Sample (2nd Card)
Bottom = 3dfx Voodoo5 5000 PCI 32MB Rev.A1 0900 Beta Engineering Sample
Top :

3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP x4 64MB Rev.A2 3500 compared to 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP 64MB Rev.A 2500:

And now I have nothing but the knowledge to help others @ x-3dfx
But hey at least I have photo's that can give me good memories on what i had and yeah I always have regrets for selling them, even it was during a time I had financial issues, such things always kill a good collection, I guess many of you here know what that is like, as we are all collectors alike.

At least the knowledge, experience and memories remain intact.

Look in here

Lipleurodon is in there, the Pelycosaur in the upper back is my first prehistoric animal well parents called it a dino , Dimetro never was a Dino, it was given to me when I was born on Dec 08, 1976 xD

As for Dimetro's , there are a few

There are two here upper left:

And there is one on my PC Case Valkyrie SMP 2014 here the Papo Dimetrodon and the Bullyland Edaphosaurus:

I guess you missed my joke reference to the liopleurodon. Although I still don't see it among the tylosaurs, kronosaurs and mosasaurs, the plesiosaurs, the combat pterosaurs et al. My daughter is a fan of the dunkleosteous, even has a tattoo of the ugly thing on her arm. You have a colossal, eclectic collection there, bud. And the view from your window is interesting, you live on a cobbled street?

Nope I live in The Netherlands in an apartment that offers assisted living, due to my chronic illness for medical help and mental support , also due to my autism and heavy form of PTSD.

As jokes & Sarcasm goes, they do me nothing due to my Autism & Dyslexia. Sorry there heh, I read such things as serious remarks, so 99% of the time I don't understand such things, many of such things I read as to the face insults, many people with Autism & Dyslexia suffer these issues, if I miss read you or others it's due to that so if I miss read you here ..welp likewise.

The Liopleurodon is behind the Pterodactylus, it's well hidden here I made a better pic of it:

In the background are a pair of Dolichorhynchops

Also all the minerals & Shells in this display, 70% I found myself, the rest I bought at Mineral Fairs and such

Anyways as new Addition to my Scale 1:200 SST collection Many thanks go to DAC member Dai Kong for helping me obtain a very rare Concorde model from Hogan Wings @ Scale 1:200

Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde British Airways "Landor Livery" Reg Number: G-BOAE "Alpha Echo" @ 1:200 from Hogan Models

This isn't the official photo but it is this exact model, yet this are some original photo's he sent me of it btw

it's been in service for exactly 26 years and 8 months, which is quite the coincidence!
My Dino-Riders Collection took me 26 years and 8 months to complete, I collected them from March 22,1987 to November 22, 2013
Which is the same exact time span this Concorde was in service, XD

More photo's I will post in this thread once it arrives

No worries, I would have been surprised if you had understood the reference I made about the liopleurodon, rather obscure joke I think. You have an awesome collection of just about everything collectible. I hope your Christmas is a good one, and thank you for sharing your pictures.

Many thanks man, year lots of years of collecting there, eve I miss my 3dfx Collection a lot tho, sometimes you need to sell things to gain other things especially when they are things of need and selling a collection because of that is the worst thing ever and the regrets are enormous.

But oh well I kept most important things like the Dino-Riders Collection and some of my retro Models I made in the past and some of my old computers all my Minerals as well not all is lost luckily

Diecast Metal Aircaft models is my newest thing that I love collecting but I tend to be very selective as that goes mainly Tu-144's, MiG-29-35 Fulcrum series & Sukhoi Su-27-35 Flanker series things like that mainly Russian Aircraft. The Concorde, F22 & F35 were added for extra content of interest

So there are some extra's I do add.

A truly amazing collection! Yours is the first Skyland KC10 I've ever seen. Would it be possible to see another picture or two of it?

Hey many thanks man And sure will do!

It was a Skyland DC-10 from KLM from 1976 afaik, as what my old classmate told me back then so many years ago.
What I did was mod it in to a freighter, just lacking the tanker refueling boom, hence it's a KC-10F and not a KC-10 Tanker variant.
The repairs I did apply to it aren't of best qualities, it was just the fitting solution for my armada when I lived at the old house, the details didn't really matter for me back then.
My room was in the attic and here it hung:

The Soviets:

The Allies; here you can see the KC-10F fly with the rest of the Allies

Here an overview of my Allied forces and a little dogfight going on, two Soviet Fighters a Mig-29 UB Fulcrum with a Sukhoi Su-33 Seal Flanker versus two American prottype fighters, two Northrop YF-23 Black Widow II's a Black & Gray version.
The Northrop YF-23 Black Widow II is by far my ultimate fav when it comes to ATF's or say Advanced Tactical Fighters

The Oldies:

this was taken in 1999, these days I had around 80 Scale 1:72 model aircraft fighters, bombers, interceptors tankers, freighters to Stealth's everything you could think of
And posted never too many right This was the read half of the room, the other side I had all the Star Wars & G.I.Joe's the large scale ones that are.
The retro Star Wars & G.I.Joe Hasbro branded toys, got some of these and some new ones on display like this:

Gold Squadron:

Raven Squadron; directly under these are my systems :-)

Dagger Squadron; directly under these is my bed xD

Now I don't know if I have pics from the old room of that part though, I can look around for sure

Here the pics of the Skyland Models UK KLM DC-10-30 which I modified to KC-10 USAF:

Here compared with a MG-29 UB Fulcrum G from the Polish Air Force of the 303rd squadron, both are the same scale @ 1:72

And here taken from the other side showing the badly repaired right wing:

As you can see it's right wing was broken off and at my age I was around 15 a 16 when I tried to repair it and well I succeeded, but not with the right type of mending glue, it's made of polyester, but at height it looked alright.

Badly fixed right wing top:

Badly fixed right wing bottom:

A Friend's dad worked for KLM and he gifted it to me in parts I was like well I can always try, it was either throw it away or try to repair it, so I took the chance, back at the time I wish I could of done a better job at it, bad sadly not the case, it is what it is and i still have it

Thanks for posting the KC10 pics. That kind of repair is not an easy job, especially on a Skyland model. It's better than I could have done.

Yeah thanks man, but it being polyester, maybe the epoxy + polyester mats may have been better, but back then I didn't have the knowledge , also where and how the wing was broken off, there wasn't much hold grip for it top be remounted, at least this method kind of worked out

At least I tried something that actually worked so all cool for that part

Wow. Some awesome collections you have there!

I can totally relate to having so many diverse interests - they're all competing for my time, and I can never really do any of them the justice I would like for that reason. Diecast aircraft are the only thing I collect, though; I think the dusting associated with so many collections is enough to scare me off

Dusting is a lot of work, but then again most of my most valued collections are in glass cabinets, I live alone so it keeps me busy ya know and occupied

My collections also help me not think of my dark past; the reason why I collected was to keep my mind busy with things of interest that generate positive influences that help me give the negative ones a place.

Many thanks for your kind reply, even though I seen many other lovely and amazing collections here, makes this community an amazing place of it's own

Anytime man and I will keep trying to make nice pics,s sometimes I shoot like 60 and 12 make it out, I used a 2003 Sony CyberShot DSC-V3 and no tripod, just held my breath for the perfect shots, this was the best handheld digital camera of 2003/2004

Here a review of it:

Yeah Tu-144 is my faved plane of all time the B747SP is my faved sbsonic plane of all time as where the MiG-29 Fulcrum being myt faved jetfighter of all time, even that the Concorde gave me great memories from seeing this British Airways "Landor Livery" Concorde at Perth International Airport on April 12, 1989:

The Helo was from Channel 7 News

Here a more detailed photo of that very Concorde it was the G-BOAF "Alpha Fxxtrot":

Photo made by David Eyre.

That Concorde lost the upper part tail rudder on it's way from Sydney to Perth.
That to which was fixed in Perth and it also held a mini airshow with the brand new Malaysian Airlines B744, hence why I chose for "Landor Livery" to begin with, yet my model is the G-BOAE "Alpha Echo"

Later this year my parents will take me to Sinsheim Germany, for a 3 day trip, so I can see the Concorde & Tu-144D there

That place is like La La Land or Magic Mountain, a place of pure happiness <3

The Books and older models have gone in to a Billy
Many thanks go to Rockybudgeboa for that fabulous idea, I plan on buying an other to free up more space, here is that Billy with my best models from my old 80 part 1:72 aircraft modelkit collection:

May get an other one so I can place more old models in it to make more space for more diecast Boeing 747's in general

Not many updates from me for the rest, all because I collect varied items as my varied interest for things to collect in general

Default Re: Photos of all my collections-Orchids-Dino's-VGA Cards-Aircrafts-Star Wars etc

Just upgraded my Servers & Workstations

Left one has 2x EVGA GTX 480 1.5GB 384Bit GDDR5 in 2-Way SLI
Right one has an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 iCX 8GB 256Bit GDDR5X

The one in the middle still has it's NVIDIA GTX 480 1.2GB 320Bit GDDR5 Engineering Sample.

And from their sides:

The GTX 480 ES and the GTX 1080 iCX have their Led Displays on

Here a closeup of the two EVGA GTX 480's a classic setup, but good enough for some CUDA Raw AVI/AC3 Compiling and some older games:

Here the GTX 480 ES:

Here the GTX 1080 iCX:

Here lit up:

After the GTX 1080 Ti I Bought the ARD Models B747-306M PH-BUW , he one I posted in my B747 thread, here the latest photo of my aircraft collection with the KLM B743 added

Default Re: Photos of all my collections-Orchids-Dino's-VG

In my bedroom I have these 6 scale 1:72 models I have kept as left overs from my 80 part model aircraft collection back in the day I used to build aircraft model kits:

Top to Bottom; Left to Right:

Sukhoi Su-22 Fitter UM-3K
Russian Air Force
"Red 65"
Scale 1:72
Italleri
---------------------------------------------------------
Mil Mi-24 Hind A
Russian Air Force
"Yellow 24"
Scale 1:72
Hasagawa
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
MiG-25 Foxbat A
Russian Air Force
"Red 50"
Scale 1:72
Hasagawa
---------------------------------------------------------
Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer C
Russian Air Force
"Blue 03"
Scale 1:72
Italleri
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
Sukhoi Su-21 Flagon G
Russian Air Force
"Red 98"
Scale 1:72
Poineer Models
---------------------------------------------------------
MiG-31B Foxhound A
Russian Air Force
"Blue 07"
Scale 1:72
Revell

And there ya go, everything I have at this moment, I had to swap some around, had to remove the old PVC A380 which had yellowing applied to it, the main cabinet in the living room is going to be for my Boeing 747's & Airliners only, End of January I buy a new Billy with 4 extra planks so I can add two extra planks in the one I have plus 2 extra for the new one, in these all my scale 1:72 jets will be displayed and the books giving me 4 extra cubes for 8 extra B747's or more smaller aircraft, like B787's Concorde's & Tu-144';s for example.

Making space is doable till you run out of it, so I know my collection is nearing it's final completion next year, that I think.
So yeah I'll see how things pack out
