Bill-ay, an excellent finished product. Those Hasegawa kits are great to work with aren't they.

Unfortunately Hasegawa only makes models of the aircraft their country airlines fly/flew. I would also like to see some 707's and 757's in their inventory as kits.

Sorry boris; none of those.

DLmd11 (whats your real name?), expect the 787 from them very soon...

Bill-ay, that is great news to hear that Hasegawa will release the 787, as they should, especially since ANA is the launch customer.

Any date on the release of the 787?

Jerry

Bill-ay, another question came to mind.

I believe JAL flew the CV 880 or CV 990, why hasn't Hasegawa produced this aircraft?

afraid not. I think those were too late when Hasegawa started doing airliners in about 1980 (they did all the current stuff at the time). Although, the DC-3 was released in ANA colours...so...you never know.

It looks fantastic! You did an excellent job on this one. I really like the old crane livery on the 747. I have considered picking up a hasegawa kit from Aviation World. Are they good kits to work with?

Not to bad for a plastic kit that comes complete in a box without the need to create your own decals. I like making their 1/400 scale kits but sadly that range is very limited.

I know what you mean...this kit is very much already assembled when I receive it...
This is how assembled these hasegawa kits come:

I think I'd better use a diecast or hogan model next time for a real challenge.

I am sure you are referring to a Hogan kit. Try building a Hasegawa kit sometime and you will see just how easy it really is.

Congratulations Bill, it is a nice feeling to win at these even if they are local.

Have you ever entered at a national IPMS convention?

How was your competition?

thanks mate.

never have-never been one close to me.

the local shows arent too bad near me. Tons of military stuff primarily and cars. The only other civilian birds there were: 1/48 Eastern DC-3, 1/144 Qantas A380, T-43 737-200, Cessna Caravan on floats and the little Gee-Bee
