Was getting bored sitting in the office today, although its Monday morning, but nothing much to do atleast till lunch. So thought would start a topic wherein I will post pics of my customs that I have made over the past few months, and pics of which I have already posted in my various arrivals threads....
Great work Karun! Hogans are just great for custom building. I also prefer Hogans better than Hasegawa. Don't get me wrong Hasegawas are more accurate in every way, but Hogans are much easier to deal with.

Ditto.. I know that Hasegawas are more superior in terms of accuracy, but I prefer Hogans because of the less pain involved.... Thanks!!

Karun, which color have you used for the belly and engines of the Air Algerie?
Bill
Bill, its a shade called 'Silver Grey' avbl in a brand called BOSNY in spray cans here in India. BOSNY paints are made in Thailand though, but are the only ones avbl since we DO NOT have access to TAMIYA or REVELL spray cans here.... although the White and the primer I use is of TAMIYA, since I got a motherload of those thru someone in the US by hand, coz as you might be aware of, these paint spray cans cannot be shipped by airmail....

I see ,well i have to find the Gunze-Sangyo or Tamiya paint that matches it as i use an air brush to paint.
Thanks for the info Karun.

Hogan Adams is the construction of the great custom. I also like the Hogans than Hasegawa. Do not get me wrong Hasegawas more precise in various ways, but easier to deal with Hogan Sri Lanka...

Wow Karun, great custom. I specially like this one, I am planning to do this but still has no donor aircraft.
i am glad you like it. its been a while since I rolled that one out... have one on the workbench which is a first in terms of the aircraft as well... should have completed it by now, but since my niece is here for vacations until August, I dont think I will be able to work on it for sometime now...
hey, got ur text last night... was fast asleep... hope you reached London safely... look fwd to your Finnair custom..
aha , im in 2 minds about the finn ! you think the latest 2010 logo will look good on an md 11?
and would they have had the "F" run through the entire vertical stab of the Md-11 (so i mean, over the engine too) or just a smaller "F" on the upper portion of the stab?

so, what are your thoughts...
well to be honest i dont like the finnair new colors... no matter if its on a MD-11... i really dunno bout the 'F', but can safely recommend you making an old colors Finn MD-11... I think Draw Decal has made decals and you can use 'em...
Thought I would update this topis with the latest roll-out. This one took me 6 months to complete, although it could have been done much earlier if the weather permitted and I had sufficient time as well..
Time for a resurrection of this thread and post some updates. The following rolled out during the last week, while the Air Niugini joins my collection, the remaining three were done for a fellow collector:
