Bill-ay, thanks for your reply. I'll guess you're using decals from their old blue stripe scheme right? I have no idea of what decals were made for Aeroflot schemes.

Here's what's going on in regards to the 777. I messed up somewhat on the United 777. I had mentioned that I had to remove paint because of overspray. When I removed the paint from the top of the fuselage, the residue didn't come off completely and though the spray from the new coats went well, the residue shows a little bit, but oh well. So far, I've applied the stripes and tail livery so its looking great. Hope to post a pic tomorrow.

sounds good charles. did you sand off the paint on top? That should completely remove all residue and what not.

The scheme is for the current "Invicta" (is that what they call it?) scheme. Using BraZ and Zvezda decals.

Hey Bill-ay! Good to hear. Hope the Aeroflot 767 comes out good. I used 3M sandpaper and believe it or not, scissors! The spray paint easily was scraped off the plastic, but some parts didn't come off enough that the new coat would cover the residue. Sunday I did some touch up work on the 777 but was sick with the cold weather and couldn't do much. I was able to patch up on the decals and paint the underbelly with the white paint since the spray didn't reach between the wing and fuselage. It's looking good, hopefully Saturday I can get pictures of it here. I'll try to post another model picture here tonight. Thanks!

Will do Bill-ay. I've been traveling a lot for work adn busy as heck.

I am going to be purchasing the Hasegawa 738 and converting it to a 736. I'm going to make it a WestJet. This may have EPIC FAIL written all over it. Draw decals has the conversion intructions in 1/144. I'll have to do a little math for the 1/200.

I'll ring ya for hints and tips. Especially getting rid of the seems. That is something I struggle with.

Yes, the 777 is from Hasegawa and its almost done. I've put foil on the leading edges and underbelly and hope to repaint the wings and apply coroguard soon.
