Default 1:200 American Airlines Boeing 777-223/ER N759AN Komen for the Cure

waiting for decals is always the most time consuming thing along with designing them. im sure GJ will come out with this bird sometime in the near future but it wont be plastic thats for sure and it wont be the $5 (yes shipped haha) i paid for this donor lol....

i got a lot more to work on but thought you guys might wanna see whats currently on my workbench =)

decals are prototype so it took alot of work to get them to fit but i think they are decent....not 100% though...most of the decal lot was from the hasegawa kit. enjoy (or hate) for now, you probably wont be hearing from me in the custom world for awhile

Is this the same AA plane you tried to make super shiny like another plane you saw? Or is this a whole different one?

same one. i figured it was more likely that someone would make a regular livery AA so i made my original one into this one instead. i highly doubt there will be a true chrome PLASTIC version of this model other than the one ive made, unless someone customs their own, but then again, i dont think the decals exist either haha

thanks randy!

thanks! i dont think anyone will make the decals. decal design is way too time consuming and people dont get paid enough to do it.

$15 for a decal sheet at airlinehobby is like getting paid for 8hrs of work. no wonder liveries unlimited went out of business!! i dont even know how drawdecal keeps up though i know he contracts others to draw it for him.

This model is now for sale. I have added more pics here. During my move, it has seen wear and Im selling as a project model. Asking $100 shipped to you in the usa (international peoples lets talk). I will also be listing on ebay or if it doesnt sell i will be parting out and it will hit the chopping block or trash.

note: i cannot guarantee the in-piece arrival of the model. it will be packaged how brad shin taught me to pack it but due to the handling of usps things may change. i will do my best as always to package it.

Things that need to be worked on are:
1. parts of the chrome have come off
2. nose needs work
3. 1 rear antenna missing
4. some decals have chipped as this model has NOT been sealed with clear coat.
5. dribble of glue coming out of front gear door

But otherwise this model has
1. full alclad 2 chrome paint
2. custom komen decals, hasegawa AA 772 decals
3. hogan metal landing gear
4. this is a skymarks 772 so it has a solid fuselage and snap fit tail and wings. The rear stabs are now fixed and not removable.
5. antenna added
6. engines detailed with vortex generator stab added
7. leading edges on stabs with foil
8. underside coroguard painted on wing
