Default homemade air new zealand 787

Hi all, I am new to DA.C. My name is Will, and I live in Utah. I have a medium size collection of mostly new generation 1:500 planes.
I made this 787 Air New Zealand out of a block of balsa. It started out as 1:500 but ended up larger, not quite 1:400 though. I just painted it with acrylic paint, and used a starjets stand.

That is way cooler than those Gemini500 or Herpa500 jets. Even cooler than 1:1000 scale! Welcome to the forums. I would like to see more scratch built models on DA.C. Keep up the good work.

Hey Will. Welcome to the Forums.

I think you did a pretty neat job on the raked wingtips and the chevrons (Shark-teeth) are visible too. Good job Will.

Enjoy your stay here at DAC.

/John

Thanks everybody! It is a little rough, the paint was very thick, too thick actully. I should have diluted it with a little water, but painting the "air new zealand" and such, was kinda hard 'cause it is so small.

And John I'll see you over at jp (I'm Will_Power)
