Come on Russell, you have enough, a hell of alot more than any of us have or ever will. Let Kai keep it.
As far as those QR models are concerned. Does anyone do 1:200 decals sheets for those QR games liveries? Now that I've purchased the HG new livery US Airways A333, I could use the old livery model I have as a donor for one of those QR A333's.

I just ordered the A346, A332, and One Asian games livery for $30. I ordered them straight through Qatar Airways world offices. they should be shipped out tomorrow. I will post pics when they arrive.

sorry no such decals in 1:200. and i bet to custom order that stuff will set you back at least $30-$50 USD. and as far as a330 kits go for the 1:200 = non existent meaning you will need to sacrifice an existing model for it.
theres no direct line into a "qatar world office" rather a general toll free number to some main office somehwere. i just called their 1-877-777-2827 number and a heavy accented lady picked up but didnt even know what the heck i was talking about (i even had to spell the word "m o d e l" out to her)

Ok, heres the deal. I went to their D.C. office and asked this guy if their was any way I could get models through some one or if they had them in-stock. So lucky me, he wrote down an e-mail address and told me to e-mail this guy. I did, and he responded within a day. He told me he could order them through the employee catalog. Sooo I told him I wanted the A346, A332, and the Asian Games. He said he could only get one Asian games (Its a surprise which one) but he could get everything else. I'm going to pick them up probably Monday. Everything was $30!

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. I didnt want to show his e-mail because then he would get bombarded with orders/e-mails. I can't wait! Pics will come once I pick them up.

Lets hope they are all 200 scale....my gut reaction is they turn up as 500 scale...I only say this as most people are clueless about scale size

What has this "Qatar" conversation been about the 200 scale...I know their inflight magazine/duty free listing has the 500 scale...I would suggest if they are indeed the 200 scale you better be quiet and don't post any pics, or else you will be pursued by a pack of wild dogs!!
Well do let us know how it goes. I'm surprised that they would have these models on their employee catalogue as 2 QR crew members told me that those models are off limits to even them.
As a matter of fact, last week I was at the QR booking office with a friend of mine and once I told them I was a collector of these models, the QR regional manager showed great interest in seeing my collection so I told him he was free to come and see them subject him not coming to my house 'empty handed'. There and then, in my presence, he made a call to the QR marketing dept in Doha and was told that they had no more 1:200 scale models left, as they had distributed all the stock they had and none were left with them. He then said that he had an A346 but as I already had that I didn't show any interest.

Actually, even if they turn out to be 1:500 model, it's still a pretty good deal - $30 for 3 models ($10 per model). I just hope they don't turn out to be stickers:

Hindsight is always 20/20. They only had 1 A346 left and it completely slipped my mind, but I can always ask my friend to go and pick it up for me. Now if only someone had an A330 they might like to exchange the A346 for.
