Man, you should make your own Boeing Everett plant, seeing all the engines scattered there. Make some scaffoldings or jigs when you takes shots like these. :-) Just adding a detail to your photos, thats all

What will you do to that 777?

Your 9V-SQA has flawed decals too. Does this mean that it will also end up like this JD model? Anyway, what's up next for this frame?

Hopefully with your airbrush in hand (this thread or another thread), the QR Boeing 777-300ER should be pushing back out of that EVERGREEN hangar anytime soon!

I had every one of my Risesoon models re-done with rotating engines or if not available had them painted up to look like the real deal...The overhaul facility that did all the modification work wishes to remain annonomous. However, all leftover engines that were exchanged out were donated to Mr. Kai!

Can't wait to see that Mozart Austrian! I also have two questions:
#1:Where do you get all of the decals Kai?
#2: Where can I get a 777-300ER kit(If there are any) cuz I wanna do a Jet Airways really bad.
Good Luck on the plane Kai!

1. PM me if you want the dudes email. im not gonna publically post it because of phishers and email bots that search for their next victim for spam
2. no -300ER kit. ur gonna need to think creatively for this one. like buy a hasegawa -300 kit and get a pair of risesoon wings or make your own winglets and stick them on the hasegawa wings. model kits are great because you can mod anything you want, screw up and still be able to cover your butt.

Why didn't you keep the JAS Rainbow and make what you want out of a Hasegawa kit?

Hasegawa makes a -300 kit also although not an ER yet, that I know of.

im not quite sure what you are trying to say. if i kept the JAS i wouldnt have a hasegawa kit to make what i wanted out of.

the jas decals were horribly faulty. they would crack up once placed in water and i had to piece them together like a puzzle. there was no way to soften up the decals with them cracking into a million pieces. not with microsol, not with a clear coat. nothing worked.

you can see even the JAS titles were misplaced in conjunction with the rainbow coming across the fuselage. there was no way to bend that rainbow more again without the decal itself cracking up like a crushed cracker.

there is probably no YET. i think hasegawa is out of the 1:200 scale business as they havent come out with anything new for along time now. there is a good chance we will never see any new jets from them. 1:200 scale model kits are not as popular as the 144 kits.

Hey Cronny.
I wouldn't have mind having a piece of the cake.

If you happen to have "spare engines" in the future, or anyone else (KAI) on this thread, Im interested to get some.

Ofcourse it would have to be a few pairs of engines, not just two engines. Hahaha (yikes*) Otherwise it would be expensive on my end.?

And I would gladly pay for the shipping.

No Mike's right, DA.C needs to start enforcing COPPA, before whatever government entity in charge of enforcing it slaps some ugly fines on it (and as loosely it is enforced, it is enforced).

The W900 Network servers are in the US, right? Under COPPA, most of the 0-12 year olds shouldn't even be here right now unless their parents filled out a special form saying they can be there and send it to the admin.

POST REPORTED!

Besides, you're into aircraft, under most of "normal" society, you're a geek too! Besides, remember who keeps your computers working (and constantly updated), designs your cars, planes, model tooling (the ultimate geek (aka Engineer) and does your math homework for a small fee!

Default Re: Goodbye 1:200 JAS Rainbow 777

B-17707, got on this link kinda late. I did one of these 777's years ago and am now finishing it up. that decal was a bear to put on, didn't crack on me, but I had to put the whole decal (3 very large pieces) set on at one time just to get everything lined up, constantly wetting and moving things around, one of the more difficult decaling job's I've done. to bad that decal went south on you, would have made a great looking model. you may have seen this posted before, its in a larger scale.
regards, Hans
