Dash 7 LONDON CITY AIRWAYS/EUROCITY EXPRESS

I am dithering as to which custom Dash 7 I should make.

1) LONDON CITY AIRWAYS G-BOAW or

2) EURO CITY EXPRESS G-BNGF

Anybody have a preference?

Both designs look very similar but there are subtle differences between the two which can be spotted in my draught decal layouts.

At first glance the tail designs looked as though they where the same, but NO there are some differences.
I think BOAW has very dark blue stripes and on BNGF they are black. Some photos show this to be the case but I need advice on this. Older photos can be mis-leading. Also BOAW has a pattern with more white stripes.

London city all day as associted with early dockland flights along with brymon. Euro was an earlier incarnation?? But either would look great
* and the concorde connection as they used unused concorde reggies G-BOAW etc

Mike - I agree LONDON CITY. The 'EURO CiTY' name was only short lived.
I have checked my slides of both and can't see any 'black' or 'dark blue' pin stripes ( on the 'shirt', I presume you mean?) Both seem to be the same scheme with 'mauve/purple' shirt pin-stripes. Only the white stripes on the jacket part seem to differ.

After many hours I finally finished the LONDON CITY AIRWAYS Dash 7.
This airframe was delivered to LCA in March 1998 and served with them until the Company closed down in September 1990. G-BOAW was transferred to British Midland.

Can anybody tell me the origin of the tail designs on the aircraft? What does the design depict?
I cannot find any references.

Set up as an airline serving London City where the main passenger would be the “businessman”. Tail design chosen was a pinstripe suit
with handkerchief in the top pocket and a red tie blowing in the wind. I doubt it would be done this way nowadays.
