Back in the 1960s the TV series Thunderbirds invented an airline called "Air Terrainean" to use a supersonic airliner called "Fireflash" which featured in the first episode. It always reminded me of the BOAC VC 10 with its four podded engines.
The future London Airport also hosted an airline called BAOC (to avoid copyright with the BA precursor BOAC).
I always wanted to see a BAOC Fireflash and have now added a BAOC version in 1/300 to my collection of supersonic airliners made in the Philippines.
I deliberately made the livery as close to Air Terrainean as possible (I am no artist and like the Anerson modelmakers chose the easiest repaint of the AT original) I think the result captures the flavour of BOAC and the VC10.
