Default 1/200 Cal Air DC10

This is my 2nd attempt at a Custom model and on the whole I'm quite pleased. Its not perfect , it is a stripped down Aviation200 DC10 with decals applied and hasn't involved any repainting, 1/200 Cal Air DC10-img_2283.jpg

as I said it's not perfect so I will have another attempt using a different donor and the same 'Nick Webb' ' Classic-airlines ' decals.

Looks great to me. That's a cool livery. Post more pics of your customs for us.

The livery is superb, very good job.

it is true that when painting is limited to the strict minimum or nothing, it greatly helps.

If the decals are not available in the scale you wish, very kindly, Nick Webb can rescale them.

Great addition to your collection.

Jean Pierre.

Hi Wardair,

It's a really nice model, smartly displayed on it's stand.

Nice job!

I'm on a learning curve and haven't yet attempted 'clear coating' buts its something I will attempt and it would help to protect the decals.

I'll have to get some bargain models to practice on first, I don't want to mess the Cal Air model up.

I'm pretty sure that clearcoat over time starts to yellow. Can someone verify this?
