Default 1:400 Phoenix 757 paint removal help

Hi
I am trying to customise a 1:400 Phoenix 757-200 and have found that with normal nail polish remover I can't seem to remove the pad printed paint from it.
If anyone has experience with this please help me.

The tampo printing can be removed by carefully using acetone which is stronger than nail varnish remover. Apply sparingly with cotton buds or the smaller make-up buds
Base colours cannot be removed using acetone.

Ok, thank you
I will try this, however, is it is possible that Pheonix may have an added a laquer on top of the pad printing in this case?
I've never seen the nail varnish not be able to remove the pad printed paint, even on other phoenix models of this era.

thanks for the help
