Nicely done. I couldn’t figure out what was different until I went and looked at my 1:200s. https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com...letes-set.html Are you planning on repainting the blue bellies black?

Bellies are deffo BA dark blue. On decal instructions and nosewheel door decals are dark blue.
Would like to do more but only other one Bauhaus on F-Dcal Site. Have the Gemini BA 737-200 with that tail so may leave that one.
Herpa managed to do lots of DBA in 1/500 yet 1/400 totally absent as are GO and Buzz.

BTW where's your 1/200 DC10 Utopia?

Interesting. The Herpa and AV200 DBA are definitely black. Deutsche BA Fokker 100 | FindModelKit.com says “oxford blue” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxford_Blue_(colour) which seems darker than the regular BA blue. Still, I am not going to get the airbrush out to redo mine - they will have to stay “as is”.

I was never really happy with the prototype decals for the Bennyhone DC-10. I was going to redo them when I came across this image, supposedly from a May 1999 copy of the BA in-flight magazine. https://www.ebay.com/itm/BRITISH-AIR...T/352318814875 (Can't seem to attach the image right now)

The picture shows the “Waves of the City” (USA) tail on the DC-10, “Colour down the side” on an A320 and “Rendezvous” on a 747 classic so perhaps these were planned at some point before the economic downturn. In any case, I decided that these will be my next 3 projects instead as they are at least “plausible fantasy” models.

Interesting Magazine.

I am currently doing a Concorde 1:200 and using a 1/144th decal sheet scanned then edited.

Could you not do that with Benyhone? eg use a 747/777 decal set and order slightly large

Good idea. I have not been decal shopping in a while. Ordered a 777 and 747 set that should provide the raw material. Alison found some other interesting options while I was out there, including a “British Blend” A320.... https://www.v1decals.com/decal/v1d04...ys/airbus-a320

Now I just need to find a donor and some more shelf space.

Yes. I think I even got a photo of that one at LHR. It was only in that a short while.
