Default JetSMART

The latest Jolly-Box Co custom. A 1/200 scale Airbus A320 in the livery of JetSMART, a new start up low cost airline in Chile. I think this model pre-dates its first commercial service. CC-AWB bears the name "Martin Pescador" which is a kingfisher native to Patagonia.

Very nice livery and very well done.
This kind of work should be encouraged.

Thank you for posting.

Thanks for your comment Jean Pierre, most welcome, but I don't think there is the same interest in customs as there was a few years ago. Most of my previous customs have now been replicated by the mainstream manufactures.
I await with interest to see which one will eventually release any of the 3 current JetSMART liveries.

Just completed the right half of a 1/144 scale of CC-AWA. Only 2 more birds to do to complete the fleet.

The Jolly Box Co & The Jolly “Orange” Box Co is the name I created for my for my own custom made models. Just like some AC releases which are know as “Green Box”, also Blue Box etc etc.
I mostly do 1/400 but occasionally create 1/200.

This one is “Loica” in 1/400 scale. Donor model was a Phoenix ANZ.

Indigo Partners, which owns Frontier Airlines in the US, Wizz Air in Europe, Jetsmart in Chile and Volaris in Mexico, has placed an order for 273 A320neos and 157 A321neos. Airbus says when added to the firm’s previous A320 orders for 427 planes, the new agreement makes Indigo Partners one of the largest customers by order number in the world for the Airbus single-aisle aircraft.

JetSmarts second Pratt & Whitney powered A320 NEO CC-AWK named “Flamenco de James”. Yet to enter commercial service as it is still undergoing flight trials out of Toulouse.

James's flamingo, also known as the puna flamingo, is a species of flamingo that populates the high altitudes of Andean plateaus of Peru, Chile, Bolivia, and northwest Argentina. It is named for Harry Berkeley James, a British naturalist who studied the bird.

This custom is my 100th and will probably be my last due to failing eyesight. It also brings my JetSmart fleet to 7.

Hi! I'm From Chile and i'm very very interested in your decals or or the models if they're for sale.

Do you sell any of these? Although I prefer another model like CC-AWA or LV-HEK.

Or if you could tell me how you made them, that would also be a big help.

Thank you!

Greetings fsnmartin.
Welcome to DAC, I was wondering if any member was from Chile.
I make the decals using my computer. The Microsoft programmes I use are excel and paint. The take many hours to get right using downloaded images of the aircraft together with the airline logo.
AWE and HEK are particularly difficult to replicate so have yet to attempt creating them.
I make my custom models as a hobby and don’t generally offer any for sale but I might be tempted to part company with a few JetSmarts.
I’m really surprised that no main stream manufacturers of model planes have not produced any JetSMART. Such very appealing liveries.

I had answered you but now I see that it was never published, too bad.

The truth is that I created this account just for the interest in your JetSmart models ahaha.
I just found the CC-AWB tutorial!, it's wonderful! and day ago I decided to make custom 1:400 models, so it will serve me a lot. I'll start with a TAM A320, and then with the CC-AWA so if I have doubts I'll consult you ahaha, although I'll use illustrator to make the drawing vectorial.
I have a doubt, for the edge of the windows that in the models are silver, what color do you occupy? Grey?. I couldn't see in pictures

On the other hand, if you're interested in selling me some template it's better, so you don't get rid of your JetSmart models, which by the way are very nice. (I understand it's a lot of work to do it so if you don't feel sure about it there's no problem, I'm almost an architect and I understand what creative work is)

And it's better that no one makes JetSmart's because then there will be very few in the world! and we will be very lucky to have them ahah.

Do you have any website to see any of your works? por ejemplo un instagram o facebook.

Regards from Chile!
